"I purchased a tee shirt from this company to give as a birthday gift. I chose MerchPlaza because, while the price was comparable to other companies, the $3 shipping charge was very reasonable. When I went to complete my order, the shipping charges were listed as almost $7. I ordered anyway, assuming there was a mistake, and wrote an email requesting a correction. Instead, I recieved a blunt email that the charges were for handling and may be added as it says on the web page (I found it was actually there, but in very small print.)
While this was only slightly annoying, the customer service was totally unacceptable and I strongly suggest avoiding this company. I did receive the shirt, but it was too late for the birthday, and I never received a response to my second email about my dissatisfaction with their service."
"I ordered a music CD from these guys for a good price. I received an invoice the same day that I placed the order but I was not sent proof of shipping nor a tracking number. I emailed them about a week and a half later to get a status on my order and got no response. I tried calling the number on their website and was unable to get a live sales rep. I left a message with my phone number and still no response.
I wrote another email to find out the status of my order. Even though I placed my order on the 2nd of Jan, they did nothing about my order until after my 2nd email. My bank account shows that they charged my credit card on the 20th of Jan, almost three weeks after I placed my order. It is like they didn't even know I had ordered anything until I started sending them emails asking about my order. I finally received my order during the last week of January. I am not happy with the customer service I received from these people. I will NOT do business with them again, and I would recommend that anyone else be wary of these guys."
