Unfortunately, the item sent did not work for its intended application. Upon placing the order I contacted a Meritline representative with an important question to confirm a correct product match. Unfortunately, the Meritline representative was not only very unknowledgeable and unhelpful regarding the product, but they were clearly unwilling to take the time to assist in anyway. Frustrated, I ordered the item anyway in the hope that by chance it would be correct. It wasn't,.... and now I am stuck with an item that doesn't seem worth the time to send back.
This experience just ended up costing me more time and $, and I had to order from another more knowledgeable online retailer to solve my issue.

May I admit I received this converter in a very timely manner in excellent condition.
I had seen these for a lot more money in the store and online so for the expense I was skeptical so I didn't plug it for about a week. Trying to forestall dissapointment.
What a waste of my time and thoughts as this unit worked excellent for my Acer, Toshiba and the Hewlett-Packard. The HP takes an 18.5 volt service so I tried 18 volt first. Worked but not as well as the 19 volt did. Charged the batteries while testing all 3 laptops. My Toshiba like the power from this better than running on it's internal battery.
