"These plant labels for the garden work nicely. The nameplates and stakes are aluminum with a flat gray color on one side of the nameplate. The top and bottom of the nameplates are folded over for safety and rigidity. The bottom fold has a hole to insert the metal stake. The top fold is where the pre-bent stake tucks under the fold to secure it. The interesting challenge for me was figuring out how best to assemble the label and stake so they stay secure while keeping the nameplate smooth. I used a metal edge to carefully fold the aluminum label completely around the stake but it took a couple of tries to do it without "hurting" the label.

There are other plant label designs available. Others may be easier to assemble. That said, these labels worked nicely. Now we'll see how well they stand up to the elements."
