"I ordered a costume with a few weeks to spare and paid extra to have it delivered before Halloween, it took them a week to tell me that the costume I ordered is out of stock, completely screwing me over as I’ve already dyed my hair to match the costume I had planned. Not to mention, the item is still available on their website in the size I ordered, which makes them seem like a scam to be honest. They now say my refund will take another 5-7 business days, so we’ll have to wait and see if they even do that on time. I am so incredibly angry at this site. "

"Awful company, no customer service. They also screen their reviews on their website, so buyer beware. I bet nothing honest makes it through unless it is glowing praise. I am certain they will not publish my review I just took the time to write. I wanted to express my anger but also warn other buyers to not make the mistake I did when storing the costume.
I bought a costume from them that I loved. It showed up fast, looked great, was just as pictured. They've got that down really well. The problem arose thanks to some terrible, low quality fabric they used on it. The outfit was a dress and a jacket. The dress is made out of a thin, crappy faux pleather. I didn't realize it at the time, but I found out within a few weeks that it had transferred NASTY black marks all over the pretty jacket. It is unwearable now. I tried all kinds of cleaning solvents, nothing gets it out. I'm so angry that I literally threw the money away on this. I e-mailed them because this was a recent purchase and I wanted to share the problem (as I'm sure I will not be alone in experiencing this. These items were stored in a climate controlled environment. They were just folded in a drawer.) The response was woefully inadequate. "Sorry for any inconvenience." Are they serious? The costume is ruined. I had hoped to maybe re-buy just the jacket but after their failure to even try to offer valid solutions of any kind I'm disgusted and will not be spending any more money with them. It wasn't an expensive costume (though it is sickening to have literally thrown money away), but I do not think it is acceptable that they're selling things that are so badly made the fabrics are disintegrating onto other materials within 2 months of manufacture."
"Finest decision ever I've made for my costume. They have a variety of costumes at an extremely reasonable price. Everything was received as ordered in a timely manner. It fits properly and Looks extraordinary! Very excessive exceptional and nicely made. Incredible sewing and durable material. Their costume and prices are AMAZING and great quality. I've always had trouble finding a costume that fits well due to my waist/hip ratio and if you have the same issue as mine them miccostume is the best choice for you. Highly recommended!"
