Steady, very reliable, good range of products and realistic pricing.
Used them many, many times and they've yet to let me down.
Starting to lag behind some other online retailers with pricing though.
No matter how good a store's integrity is, most people aren't likely to pay more for something (identical, branded products) they can get elsewhere for noticeably less."
"Dont be cheated. You might think you are getting a bargain. Just cross your fingers and hope nothing goes wrong. When it does they will give a BS excuse that your hardware has to be sent abroad and will take 3 months. This is against the consumer laws which say that a retailer should take a "reasonable" amount of time which is 1 month. My graphics card died and after returning for a replacement I've chased them 4-5 times, each time they say to come back 3 weeks later. I can only guess that because hardware values drop quickly that they would have to refund you less or if it goes wrong again you are out of your warranty period. The queues for buying are long and the one for the returns is even longer, especially as the returns dept is open for a shorter period than the sales counter.
Go elsewhere, its not worth saving 50p for hassles when things go wrong."
"These people are complete crooks, I will never deal with them again. I bought an SN25P system from them because if supported RAID, but it never worked properly. I returned it for another one which had the same flaw. Clearly the product had a design flaw. I requested a refund but they wouldnt' give me one. After weeks of chasing they sent me another SN25P which I did not want and they refused to take it back. Stay away at all costs. "
"I have made several Purchases from Microdirect.
Very good customer service (Have had little reason to contact that department, and when i have, problems are sorted propmtly)
I vote with my money, If i don't get good service, I shop elsewhere (see Eclipse Computers rating)
I will be placing orders for the forseeable future from Micro direct.

"Absolutely useless customer services. They only seem to care about selling things, couldn't give a damn about customer satisfaction. No replies to emails, phone number is high cost if you ever get through. I need the parts for my work computer and more than two weeks after supplying a faulty motherboard/processor, I still don't know when the problem will be resolved. Extremely frustrating knowing that there's no way to talk to someone there (unless you are within driving distance of Manchester)."
