"Ordered a christmas present on November 11th - plenty of time, and the telescope was in stock, expected to have it within a week or so.
They then started to send me paypal requests for 100 GBP more shipping (bit weird since I've already pay for shipping 'outside of UK; Europe'. Still, they didn't send out my order until I agreed. I kept urging them to hurry up as christmas was now near, but they did not send it out.
Now it's February. Still no telescope... Pretty lame Christmas for my daughter who wanted nothing else but a telescope (which also was pretty pricey).
Since Brexis started from Jan 1st, an additional 97 GBP of custom fees will be added to. Have asked them to confirm that since they caused the delay, and I should have received this in November i.e. BEFORE Brexit, THEY should pay the customes fees.
Of course they don't respond...

"Ordered over 3 months ago Celestron battery pack as they were one of very few shops that had it available for delivery at that time in Europe. I really regret, because I have seen neither the battery pack nor my money back. The shop is purposely avoiding my emails and not responding to requests of transferring money back (their WorldPay integration at their website is broken so you have to use regular bank transfer. And of course you cannot do an easy chargeback on them in that case).
Avoid at all cost! I am right now in the process of complaint through ombudsman."
"Ordered an item, they told that they have on the spot. After couple weeks of waiting, tons of unanswered e-mails and calls later, they say that they actually does not have this item and will refund the money. Sure. Couple days passed, money still not returned, so I call them to found out that they had to pay too huge bank transfer fee to refund, which is ridiculous (of course they did not let me know that, had to call myself). "I ordered an item which should be dispatched in 3-5 days. After a week I emailed them to ask what happened and they just replied that I'll have to wait for another two to three weeks. That time passed again and my order is still pending... Very dissatisfied!"
"Have ordered on 3 occasions from Microglobe.
First time was for a DSLR body. Not advertised as grey stock but managed to find out Microglobe deals in grey stock prior to shipping, so had this order cancelled.
2nd order for lens did not ship for several days. When i phoned them, was told it had shipped the previous day. Postage stamp, when it finally arrived, proved it wasnt shipped until after me chasing them up on the phone. Lens did not come with the proper lens caps either.
3rd order placed on a weekend, i specified a different delivery address as i was working away from home for sometime. Microglobe announced 8am on the monday, online only, that they have shipped to my billing address (200miles away). Didnt bother to call first to confirm the address i wanted it to go to. I replied 5 minutes after the order status change stating re-address or cancel it. They ignored this, and replied 6pm stating i would have to deal with it myself through royal mail if i wanted it delivered to where i wanted it delivered to. Whats the point of having seperate delivery address and billing address on the website ?
