The laptop was new and came with preinstalled Office 365 which I uninstalled prior to installing MS Office 2019 per seller's advice. Couldn't be happier for this low price! Honestly, despite being on fixed income as a senior, I was willing to risk the $40 - deal seamed to be too good to be true. It had a supposedly valid ms key. However, when I noticed that Outlook would not receive updates and I couldn't find a version number, plus, the options fields seemed like an old version, I decided to scrap the whole package and find a new seller. "For the umpteen time, I brought up the word to use and it wouldn't download? I went into the sellers page on ebay (where I bought it) and the seller was no longer valid or listed? I get so tired of this. I went to Microsoft page to buy one from them for 1 lifetime usage. It was 600dollars. Well, low and behold, this seller Microsoft Softwares came up on ebay advertising their rates and it was much more affordable....I hesitated, greatly. Didn't want to purchase the license and in a few weeks, it becomes invalid (as most of the licenses on ebay sellers do?) So, I figured, I'll go ahead and do it....and if it becomes invalid (shortly) I'll just have to cough up the 600dollars to get one from the actual Microsoft site....Why do they become invalid so soon? Someone, told me it's mostly because they keep selling the same license number over and over so many times, Microsoft has to disable the license number? But, so far, this one I obtained from Microsoft Softwares is good....Thanks the good Lord! Thanks"
