I called three times and left my number three times but no call back. Use their email contact three times, but no response. Amount already deducted from my credit card. "I was about to buy several hundred dollars worth of equipment and thought to look at a few of their business policies. They are written in Latin. No joke, all the shipping, returns, etc are in latin. I called to talk with someone and got no answer. I also realized they have a 212 area code. If you aren't familiar, the ultra-prestigious 212 area code is Manhattan. Some people spend thousands of dollars just to have a phone in that area code. Why would a discount audio dealer have such a code?

"I ordered a 2 ha Pioneer (SE-IRM290) IR Wireless Headphones, on 9/11/11. I have never received my order nor a update or tracking information. Nobody answered emails or phone calls. The message box is full so I wasn't able to leave a message. I will probably have to file a credit card chargeback.

I phoned the number provided on midtownsounds.com and received a voice mail box. So I looked up the URL and phoned the number provided only to be presented with yet another voice mail. I asked to cancel my order as I do not know if it was even processed. I have not yet had any charges on my account and hope that this does not happen. Updates to come "
"I ordered a pair of Pyramid (PW1048USX) 10 inch speakers almost a year ago. They sound great; there is not one issue. When I needed a copy of the receipt 11 months later, I emailed customer service at noon and got the receipt 2 hours laters. If that's not phenomenal customer service, I dont know what is. I will definitely recommend and use teptronics.com again."

"We are very unsatisfied with our dealings with midtownsounds.com. I would NOT recommend doing business with this company. Their customer service is HORRENDOUS and they can't even follow basic directions.
1) We called their customer service line and left 5 messages over as many days with their 'answering service' that answers their phones during business hours and NEVER received a call back.
2) We tracked down contact information for someone at their company by finding out who had registered their URL and calling him. He seemed surprised. He had no idea what was going on with our order, nor could he seem to find out for us. We told him that since they STILL hadn't shipped our order and we were moving, that we would appreciate it if they could mail our order to our new current address. He said they would.
3) They shipped our order to our billing address that is half way across the country from the physical address we gave them. They didn't even ship it to our first physical address, much less the updated physical address; they just shipped it to our billing address which is NOT where we live. We now have to pay shipping again to get the product we paid for sent to us. "
"7 days later, no package, i am 1 state away. call their number and it goes to an answering service, even during business hours, you can not talk to them, and they do not return calls, or emails, and are not responding to my request to cancel it and refund my money, they are crooks, stay away from them. Just whois'd them, this place is owned by Brett Tepper, owner of teptronics, who sold me a set of tweeters that was missing one, then replaced them with a set of BLOWN tweeters, VERIFIED thieves, stay away from them at all cost, they drop ship from china, and they take a month to get there, with broken and damaged items."
