"HORRIBLE! Took over two months to ship my item, but according to them it was in stock, called twice to cancel but could never get through to anyone. I ended up ordering it off of ebay and was at my house in 3 days. Funny how that works. I will never shop there again absolutely the worst buying experience I have ever had."

" I ordered a pistol marked "in stock." A few days later I was on the site again and found it marked "out of stock." I sent an email yesterday to make sure that my order had not gone on back order and have not received a response. Just attempted to call,1:30est, to get a automated repsonse giving me their buisness hours, which is definetely during the period I called, followed by another message telling me they aren't open and to email them. Apparently they actually do not stock items, they order once you order. They than go to the company which is when they find out whether or not it is in stock. Now I'm sitting with a 750$ hold against my credit card from a company that I cannot get a hold of.
I just tried to call again and now the message says "our telephone service has been suspended to expedite shipping, send an email." This concerned me so I jumped to check my bank account to find the 750$ hold has been removed. They have not contacted me and I cannot contact them. I never, in my email to them, asked or insinuated for my order to be cancelled. I still have the 25$ charge from the FFl dealer but hopefully they will allow me to pass that to a different purchase. I'm just hoping my order actually has been cancelled and I will continue to try to get in contact with them to confirm, unfortunelty they are not open on weekends at all. I'm weary of trying to buy from another place incase MHO/TGSCOM tries to charge me again.
Regardless of wheather or not this place is a scam they are unorthadox as well as lacking in effciency when it comes to their shipping methods as well as their customer service. I will not be doing buisness with them now or again and this is one situation where too good to be true is exactly as it appears.
So I received a reply via email, took about 24 hours which wouldn't be so bad except they literally don't answer their phones. They told me my item has been back ordered and they cannot provide an estimated shipping date but it will eventually ship unless I cancel. I asked them to cancel. It's late Friday night and they don't open again until Monday morning, which to me is a poor practice for a company which sells, and I would assume moves a good deal of merchandise, as they appear to. Hopefully they will not try to charge me any sort of fees since absolutely nothing left anywhere requiring restocking. Still would not shop with again.

"Absolutely Terrible. Do not use these people... Placed order on 2/18/12, today is 3/2/12 and the order has not even shipped yet. I called earlier this week to check and was rudely told to try back at the end of the week. Did what they said and now they are not taking calls, a recording says they will not be taking any calls until they catch up on some orders....What??? This is a joke and a waste of time. I have canceled the order."

"I am very disappointed in this company. It has been one week since I placed my order for one item and I still have not received my purchase. I check the status often only to see that it has been processed and not shipped. I thought the days of poor service were behind us but I guess I was wrong. I will not puchase another item from this company. "

"My only issue is that I am ordering parts that are either in short supply or just too popular. Maybe it was the Christmas rush.
I order the 4 25rd magazines for the S&M m&p 15/22 about 3 weeks before they arrived. They arrived safe and secure still in the packaging as if I'd bought them at the store.

The shipping is pretty good with these guys as far as price goes. It is always scary when you buy multiple items that some places will charge you shipping per item. Glad to say that is not the case here.

As this is a review of Midwest and not the product purchased, I can only say that I received exactly what I ordered in a timely matter. (though I am still waiting on the 10rd shorts order in December, I cannot fault Midwest on this particular order)

"Facts: Placed order 2/23...Received email with tracking link 2/23 that stated order status as 'In Process'...It is 3/1 and link still says 'In Process'...Customer Service Rep says orders usually take 7-10 days to ship. I'd call that very substandard."

"Do not purchase from this company. I placed an order in January for two items that were shown as in stock on the website. Their website showed that the order was processing and would take 7-10 business days to be processed before shipping. After three weeks with no change in status I attempted to call the company for an update. The listed phone number was not functional. I sent an email request for contact and stated I needed immediate contact. One week later I sent a second request for contact. Three days later this company sent their first reply was...


Normally, in stock items take approximately 7-10 business days to leave our facility. Unfortunately, we have recently been notified that this item has been delayed from our supplier. We have not been provided with any sort of estimated time of arrival. The item is in stock and not back ordered, but simply has been delayed. We will send you a separate email once the order ships out with your tracking information.

We do apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Have a great day!

The next day they shipped half my order to me. After five weeks of waiting I purchased the item on Amazon and it shipped from a different vendor the next morning. I am now waiting for Midwest Hunters Outlet to cancel and refund my order.

"No exageration, the worst service ever!!! Ordered a flashlight holder on 1/12/12 was told it was in stock and would be approx 7-10 days. One month later called to check on status. Was assured its being shipped to them from their supplier would be approx another week, or i could cancel my order if I like. Gave them the benifit of the doubt and waited. Today 03/01/2012 another month later call and told same crap with an attitude like Im inconvinencing them??? I said you didnt waste time debiting my account for the product that I ordered 2 months ago that was in stock. Cancled the order and writing a review just like I told her I would.. Order at your own risk!!!!"

"Avoid this place like the plaque. I ordered a laser and it was DOA. Wouldnt even turn on. After calling them they said it was a manufacturers issue. They wouldnt even take it back. So beware, they will send you defective merchandise and then leave it up to the consumer to get a working unit. Customer service person also acted like I was bothering them. Worst experience ever!"

"I am not going to use this company ever again, it has been 20 days since I ordered an in stock part and it still has not been shipped. After emailing them and waiting a couple days for a response they told me their supplier has a delay on the part and they are not sure when it will ship. That is not what I would call in stock by any stretch of the imagination."
