"I made an online order for a camera lens yesterday for one of my cherished overseas employees. The transaction went through but hours later was notified by email that my transaction was seen as fraud. The company later replied back to me telling:

"I’m sorry, as stated on our website we are cannot ship anywhere except the valid billing address associated with the card. Also, we don’t even have this lens in stock and immediately available for an expedited shipment. Let me know if I can answer any other questions for you."

I explained to the company representative that their website allows for a different shipping address to the billing and that the item was in stock and if it wasn't then there's an alert on the screen not allowing a purchase to be added to the cart. She then told me that only established customers can ship to a different address. This would have been a great chance for the representative could have signed me up there and then if she was sales hungry - or even skilled in customer service.

Clearly this company doesn't take their website presence seriously and prefers to disappoint rather than meet expectations. Until then, maybe make a call to MPEX if you're about to make a purchase and also ensure you're established customer if you'd like to ship to another address."
