Be aware of this company

"I ordered a line roller part and waited. A month later they told me they don’t have this part in stock. Either keep wait for another 2weeks to 6 months or cancel the order and paid the 20 percent restocking fee. Be aware of it before you shop on this website."

Disappointing. BUYER BEWARE!

"Ordered 2 reel handles, never received them asked for the company to make it right by sending replacements, was told I could have a discount to replace the probably items if i wanted to re order.

Then Cindy (owner) said it was stupidity on my part, it’s a $95 order which is not the issue but will be taking it up with PayPal to get refunded but will be sure to never come back again and hope nobody else gets caught up in this joke of a business.

This was an easy issue to resolve by Mike’s, however Cindy’s response was absurd including calling me stupid and lazy.

Better than expected

"Ordered a few parts for a reel I needed repaired. After ordering the parts got a notification that they were back ordered. Since I needed them ASAP called and left a message asking for a refund and explained the situation. Later that morning got a call back from them and they issued a refund onto my card. 4 days later got a full refund no questions asked back onto my card. I will definitely do business with them again, just next time will note in the order no back ordered items, just like they suggest to do on their page. Not for nothing but shame on me for not looking at their policies closer"

Don’t Hold Your Breath

"These guys are rubbish, took 6 weeks holding my payment to tell me the part isn’t available. Seriously, I followed them up no less than 3 times, they kept telling me it will be another 2 weeks. Finally they now tell me the part is obsolete. Not once did they give me an update off their own accord, it was always me following it up, so I wonder if I didn’t follow it up how long it would of taken them to realise the part is not available. Unless you are desperate I recommend exhausting all other options before ordering from these guys. "

Unresponsive

"They never answer phone, so ordered by email. They immedistely processed credit card, then informed me they didnt have psrts, promised refund which i never got. Terrible place, suggest steering clear of these people."

Stop the excuses!

"I ordered some parts for my reel and it's now been over a month and every time I contact them I get a new excuse? I was first told that Daiwa was updating their computer system and that was OK I can deal with that.
After hearing that excuse a couple of times I contacted Daiwa in the US and was told their system was up and orders are being shipped.
After two more weeks I am being told they received their order from Daiwa "but" my parts were not with it? Maybe on the next shipment in a couple more weeks.
I am now asking for a refund and I think Mike's should not charge a customer until the order is being shipped like most reputable company's.
I thought I would give them a chance because their web page shows every thing and that's my mistake. NEVER AGAIN will I order from Mike's.

Intentionally shipped wrong product - no reply to customer

"Mike's Reel Repair had seemingly the spools I needed. I wanted to replace my existing spools to higher line capacity ones, whics was highly emphasized in my order. Due to life events I received my order after a very long while just to discover that 3 out of 4 spools were exactly the same I was trying to replace. Mike's Reel Repair got my money, got rid of the products they wanted and didn't bother to reply to my messages. Even an apology would have been nice. The shop can be considered money instead of customer oriented. Look for service providers that can and will carry their responsibility like anyone with conscience."

Horible Customer Service.! Terrible shipping.! DO NOT ORDER STUFF FROM THEM.!!!

"This company is the WORST I have had the displeasure to deal with online in MANY years. We purchase about 100K a year in supplies and materials for our businesses and these guys get the "WORST OF THE WORST" award in ALL categories.!
I made a purchase from them for some power cords and it was CLEARLY listed as 'in stock' on their website. I made the purchase and they promptly took money from our online purchase account for the cords and shipping. Two weeks later and many emails to them (forget calling them, no one EVER answers the phone.!) I get a reply back the item was on 'back-order' despite their website stating differently. The email form them said it would be in stock in about 10 days and on its way to us. Two weeks later again and MANY more unanswered emails I get another vague email from them saying the items should be in in about a week and shipping to us. Over five weeks later I get another email with a tracking number for Canada Post. Tracking number did not show up on shippers website for days.! After it did show up. It has taken two weeks more and still no delivery.!! This guy/Company is a complete waste of time, massive frustration, inept customer service.!
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.!!
I must say the ONLY thing that worked perfect and flawlessly was their websites ability to **** up the money IMMEDIATELY.!

Are these guys still in business????

"I sent two reels to them for repair two months ago. I have proof that the reels were delivered to them. I have attempted to contact them twice by phone and twice by email and no response. Unbelievably poor service bordering on fraudulent!!! "

"I ordered over a week ago and they charged my card immediately. Then, in an automated email, it said they were backordered on one of the parts. I've called at least 10 times with no answer and left 3 messages. The online support is never available, they are completely worthless."
