"I was shopping at the Sioux Falls Fleet Farm and overhead and seen a customer being yelled at by an associate. I'm never coming back they just losted a long time customer. "
"Took a discharged battery into Fleet Farm Farm Rated 6 volt battery that I had purchased in October of 2023 to have it tested.
The 12 month replacement warranty had expired but it has a 24 month pro rated warranty.
When the tech initially hooked it up to the machine he commented that it was dead.
After putting on their tester he said it was good after a few minutes. My home charger by contrast will take hours to charge the battery up.
Took battery home and put on home charger and it said it was not charged.
Attempted to start vehicle again but battery was worn down again after several start attempts. The starter motor does not seem to getting enough juice for a long enough time to start vehicle.
Charged battery again to take back into store as I suspected a bad cell.
Before going to Mills Fleet Farm I had it tested at Batteries Plus who used two devices to test it they said it had a bad cell.
Took back in and clerk tested it again and said it was good, but wanted to know if I wanted to leave it over the weekend as their manager would be in one Monday and only he had authorization for any warranty along with additional knowledge about batteries.
Called back Monday and told manger called in sick, but person answering phone claimed to be part of upper management and said it tested OK again.
Went back to store the next day to get battery, which was in the lower portion of a protective battery case and it was not the same battery. The top of the battery was covered in a layer of dust. The terminals had corrosion on them from being exposed to the weather.
My battery had been kept inside a plastic battery case with a lid on it inside the engine compartment of a truck. My battery was clean and had no corrosion on the terminals. There was also a round sticker on the top of the battery with a date of 10/22 while my battery had none. When they sold me my battery the clerk had taken out a engraver and written a i.d. code on top of it as cross reference to the purchase but that was not present.
What the auto department employees did was substitute another battery of the same model, that someone else had brought in, for my battery.
No longer doing business with Mills Fleet Farm. It makes me wonder what they would do with my car in their shop.
Purchased a replacement at Batteries Plus.
Invoice is number of original battery purchase as no paper work other than tiny printouts from battery tester were given."
"I purchased three items on Black Friday, two showed up at my house. The one that didn't show up was a pair of insulated bib overalls. The website said shipped for all three items. I called customer service this morning 12/5/23 to find out what's going on. I was told the overalls were sold out by the time shipping got to my order. I didn't see anything that said limited stock on hand. I emailed Fleet Farm three days ago and never heard anything back so that's why I called. I asked customer service if I could get a rain check for the price on the overalls and they connected me with our local store. I spoke to a manager and she said they cannot honor the Black Friday price. So if I wouldn't have called I would have never known the overalls were never shipped. Customer service is everything to me and Fleet Farm failed miserably in that department. Sad they won't honor a price and absolutely zero communication stating the overalls were out of stock and won't be shipped. I will not recommend Fleet Farm to anyone"
"Oil change was a complete scam. Gave me an estimate my putting in my vehicle (and engine size). When complete (after an hour), it was $30 more. They claimed my car used more oil than estimate. I explained I put my exact vehicle in there. Didn’t matter. I won’t be back. "
"I purchased some items and asked for a gift receipt. I recently had a friend return the item WITH THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT (Not the gift receipt) and they would not refund the amount of the purchase. Since I had asked for a gift receipt they would only give me a store credit. Once I use up the store credit, I won't be shopping at Mills Fleet Farm again."

The clerk stated " I don't understand why elderly people can't follow instructions " I took quite an offence to this clerk #120866. How does he know that I may be suffering from dementia or another disability. This happened on 8/14/2022."
"Just picked up and assembled the Suncast 106 cubic feet vertical resin shed. Easy job putting it together by myself. Warehouse associates were very helpful in loading it into the pickup truck. Highly recommended product! "
"Buyer beware when dealing with the Eau Claire store's Automotive or Customer Service departments. The auto folks will tell you what you want to hear to get you to buy something, but will not stand behind their advice when something goes wrong. They assured me that an alternate battery type would work in my vehicle when the correct one was out of stock. After it fried my truck's electronics, they wouldn't even let me return the battery since it was used (for approximately 2 seconds.) The store manager and corporate customer service folks are unresponsive. Honesty and integrity are in their motto, but that is where it ends. They hide behind any and every store policy they can even when they are clearly at fault. "

I emailed numerous times to see where my item was and/or when it would ship out? after about 6 weeks finally got a response saying they cancelled my order! they just cancelled my order, with out ever reaching out or asking if i wanted to have it cancelled."

"don't even attempt to order from here. ordered a beanie and when it arrived, it was the incorrect one than displayed in the photo. called customer service and it took them 32 minutes to answer. when she answered i was telling her what happened and she rudely interrupted asking the order number. i continued to tell her what happened and she just start laughing, like i don't understand what was funny? Customer service here is impossible to reach and the people are unnecessarily rude. i promise you guys that there are better places to shop."
