"I'm a disabled veteran and I had to deal with these rude SOBs. Veterans should not have to be subjected to this rudeness and I looked at invoice--I can't believe the VA paid this much for Microsoft Office. It's way overpriced. I don't know how they won this bid. Everyone should complain about treating American veterans in such a disrespectful manner."
"They told me my hard drive was bad, $200 to fix it with no guarantee. I
said no and took it home, priced new hard drive on amazon, $32, didn't buy it ,ran some diagnostics and the drive was good??? Bought repair DVD for $13 on amazon and repaired it myself. I won go back there!!"
"I recently stopped at the Kenosha, WI store. I was interested in buying a case to build a mid-range PC. All they had were obsolete low-end junk cases sold about 8 - 10 years ago. Most of the PC components they sell are old junk. The only components I saw that were reasonably current were the CPU coolers. When I asked the guy behind the counter where the newer cases were he said "They would have to order the flashy cases." and "They don't keep them in stock because they might not sell." Get with the times Milwaukee PC. Not all your customers are novices. Some of us actually know a thing or two about computers. The computer market is quickly passing you by. Experienced computer users/builders like myself don't want your 10 year old junk. And don't offer to order for me. I can easily do that myself and get exactly what I want and for a better price. "
"We recently took in our family 8mm tapes to be made into DVD's. What a disaster! Of the 50 tapes, we brought in, 11 came back without sound. When we played several of the others, there was background clicking on some, and discs that would freeze up on others. I took them to Allied Digital and re-did them, and they turned out perfect. Obviously, the equipment Milwaukee PC uses is junk. I had to eat hundreds of dollars, because by the time we got around to viewing many of the discs, it was beyond the 15 day return period and Milwaukee PC would not refund my money."
"They should change their name to "Milwaukee PCS" PCS meaning "Poor Customer Service". Ordered a system on a Saturday-Paid 2/3 down (more than they actually requested)- Was told the system would be ready on Wednesday- Wednesday came around, no call from them. I sent an email from their web-site, never got a reply.
Ended up driving there only to be told that the system was still not ready !! Told them that I wanted our deposit back and would shop elsewhere. Man who apparently had too many donuts came over (Manager maybe..??) and was dismissive and rude and said "we had other orders come in which pushed yours back". Meaning, they were able to screw someone else out of more money, so we got sent to the back of the bus. His attitude was absolutely horrible...he was completely rude, acted as if he could care less about the problem that THEY CREATED.
As an I.T. Consultant, who likes to try and help local businesses, I have to say, this is one "business" (I use the term business loosely here) that I will never consider using again, nor would I ever recommend them to anyone..unless of course it was someone that I didn't particularly care for :P"
"I went to the bluemound location because my computer had broken hinges. The man behind the counter was extremely rude and took one look at it and said he wouldn't fix it because it was too much of a pain and a waste of his time. He also said that it would be over $600 to fix and the only store that would do it is the highway 100 store. I took it to 3 other places including the hwy 100 location and nobody would fix it. I then took it to geek squad and they're fixing it for $250. Milwaukee PC was a waste of my time and I will never go back."
"Bryan and Randy were both very helpful, very courteous, and knowledgeable. I appreciated all their help."
"I used to do all my PC business with the Bluemound store in Milwaukee and was a satisfied customer glad to have local support. I moved and the 108th street location is nearby. The clerk I delt with was nice but didn't know much about a simple hard drive I was interested in buying. After a while a knowledgable tech stepped in and answered my questions. Then the price at the register rang up almost twice what the bin price was. I asked the store clerk to check and he went to the manager and gave me a unfriendly it's the higher price. That's nice. So are all the prices wrong in the store or just this one, and if you ask you get scowled at?? So I walked out and the 2 PCs I'll be buying in the next six months will not be MPC PCs sad to say. I don't mind paying more for personanalized service but IMO that's missing now from MPC. Sad"
"I have ordered a laptop from them at the Sheboygan location and I got good support from them. They actually are knowledgeable about the products they sell. When I needed my DVD burner and hard drive on my laptop replaced, they actually fixed the problem, even though the DVD burner took a while to arrive. The employee was courteous and took the time to help me.
When it was time to get new a custom desktop system, he gave me good suggestions (like less RAM than I need and a smaller motherboard) to save money. He acknowledged that I used Linux and actually dropped Windows Vista from the order. He also let me pay for the system with a COD, since I don't want to use credit.
While most people might have had bad experience with the online store, I had a good experience with this location. Your mileage may vary at other locations."
"I ordered several fanmate-1's over the phone. I gave them my credit card and address, and I received them a few days later.
Note that they don't appear to have an online ordering system. Their product listing on the site appears to be for local buyers. But they were able to take my order over the phone and ship it to me.
Their online stock information appears to be very accurate. I noticed that their site updated the stock info to reflect my order very quickly.
It was an overall good experience with no problems."

"Well, whem milwaukee pc was small they seemed to have decent customer service, by no means would I have called them knowledgeable but at least they tried to help you....Now it's only a good place to go if you need something quick and can't wait a day to get it from newegg (because even with next day shipping newegg is cheaper 90% of the time)....Their sales associates don't know computers (in my time there I have found 1 to know what he was talking about) and sometimes downright rude.....If you need to buy a part quick, it's not a bad place to get it in a bind but beware their full systems....."
"Buying A Milwaukee p.c. was the worst buying experiance I ever had. First I brought it home and had A bad modem. Then I tryed to play and burn A DVD. They did'nt put the program In to play A DVD and did'nt install the burner. Then after It was installed I tryed to burn A CD or DVD and still couldn't , they forgot to update to my new burner that should have been in there from the start. I called Milwaukee P.C. headquarters and talked to the man in charge of customer service and explained my discuss with my computer and got no where. I would never recommend anyone to buy one and that was the last time I'll buy one."
"I bought my first PC from this guys back when they only had 2 shops open. Great price, very polite and knowledgeable. However, things have changed over the past few years. Everything is behind glass and good luck trying to get someone over to open the case for you. There is a sense
of "we're better then you" atmosphere at this store. I was playing in their gaming center (back of store) with a few of my college buddies and went to get a game CD and I was rudely told "YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS LOOKING THROUGH THOSE CDS! That's how they get lost!" Well, excuse me Ms. Uptight, but you left the spindle right on the counter. Instead of helping me find the game, she yells at me.
I now hear the owner goes through the check-in list and interrogates everyone that is playing on each machine and now you have to pay extra for head phones! This is ridiculous!"
"So, I was GOING to buy from this company, but I ran into two problems. First, I emailed the company three times trying to ask them if I could purchase an item off of their website if I walked into their factory store. I never got a reply, so okay. I walk to the factory store and they tell me I have to pay shipping and handling anyways. I think, well okay.. I guess.. So I ask them if they have a case I want in stock - the gentlemen tells me they should and walks around and looks for it. He comes back and tells me they dont have the case, but that he could give me the floor model. I think thats a pretty good deal, so I ask him how much it would cost and he tells me 100.00 - now advertised on the website the case was only 60.00, with shipping it was around 70 I think. So I ask him if he can go any lower and he tells me 75, with shipping. What a rip off! I'm never thinking of buying from them again."
