"The books looks great (ordered hard cover and soft cover versions for family). I have mixed reviews of Mixbook, so here it goes:
+ Uploading photos was easy and because I didn't know exactly what I wanted my book to look like, I uploaded hundreds of photos and there didn't seem to be a limit on how many images I had.
+ The themes, templates and stickers were easy to use and looked nice, but there wasn't a huge range of stickers/decorative options, and they weren't customizable at all (colour, shape, etc).
+ LOVED that there was an agent available online for a chat when I had questions about shipping
- Did not love the crazy "Express" shipping rates - in my case, the quote was $215 for Express shipping 4 hardcover and 11 small softcover books. Ended up paying $50 for regular shipping and they arrived 7 days sooner than expected (I'm in Canada).
- The image editing tools were limited and finicky. Because of the digital platform used to build the books, it was difficult/near-impossible to see how blurred images were or to see the impacts of the editing.
+ Everytime I switched to a new page, all my additions and edits were automatically saved.
- Page builder wouldn't work in Chrome, so had to use Firefox (I could upload pics, but couldn't drag and drop w Chrome).
+ VALUE! Even though I thought the Express shipping rates were completely out of line, the prices for the books and the quality of them is fantastic!

This was my first time using Mixbook, but will not be my last. Thank you!

"Disappointed. Having moved over from mypublisher I thought I'd give these guys a try due to their great reviews. The whole process was relatively straight forward but the big let down for me is the picture quality. I was using professional wedding photos but the quality of the finish was 3/10. The colour reproduction was poor and colours came out very flat and lacked the vibrancy they should have had.

I get the impression these guys are good for your iphone photos but if you produce quality photos, I would steer clear. Despite the awful customer service at mypublisher, the picture qualtiy was much much better."

"When I received my first Mixbook product I was very unhappy with the results. The front cover had a smear and some of the pictures were moved around. After Mixbook agreed to re-print the book, the second copy turned out much better. I have since ordered another book from this company and would do so again."
