The mercandise was just like I ordered. I love the special order 16 inch display which has more viewable screen than one of my 17 inch desktops.This computer has all the interface that you want. Plenty of room for peripherals(and its mobile just like in the name of the company that sold it to me.And completely upgradeable.
Talk about short. "Ordered on Sunday 10/9/2003 and received a response on Monday 10/10/03 from sales rep Phoebe Shan stating that my order has been processed and submitted to the production dept and will ship on or before 11/17/03. That is fast service. All of the other comments dated back to 8/03 are all positive. Now I will update this comment when the unit arrives. Also the live online sales rep chat is awesome.
11/21/03 Update, received the laptop today. Nice design but just dosen't work for me. Contacted Lynn Konz via email on friday after business hours and received a immediate response, stating that an rma number will be issued to me on Monday.
11/24/03 It is now 11/24/03 at 10:34 am EST. RMA number was emailed to me without fail. That is honest and dedicated service to a customer. Maybe in the future I will purchase from them again but this experience has been satisfying.

"I was very skeptical when I first ran across the mobileperipherals homepage. It seemed like a scam in the makings.
However, a few quick emails with Lynn Konz, and a review of the comments on this board, gave me a sense of the true professionalism that this company provides to their customers.
Lynn was very forthcoming with information and answered all of my questions very promptly. When I made the decision to buy, I had my new
G732V Laptop computer in my hot little hands within about 4 or 5 days.
My laptop did come with a defective battery, but
a quick email to Lynn and he sent me a new one
and let me return the defective one after I received the new one to verify that it was truly a battery issue and nothing wrong with the laptop. (I did have to pay for shipping back the
defective battery, but this is clearly explained
in the terms of the warranty.)

I haven't tested the warranty yet, but with my pleasant experience, I don't expect any problems. The Expert Advantage tech support is good during normal business hours, but is left to be desired late at night. I had a windows issue, and they told me to go to microsft's website. The next day, I called back and they solved the issue.

"I purchased the ECS Model G732E-V back in MAy and I'm very happy with the computer. Pros: very fast, bright large screen, excellent graphics display (plays Rally Trophy, a favorite of mine, very well). Cons: a bit heavy (close to 9 pounds with the battery), speakers are lousy, but sound card is o.k. when plugged into external speakers. Good price, good buy."
"Excellent prices, service, speed and quality of products (this is being typed on the Sager 8887 laptop right now). The laptop I ordered arrived in the UK just days after being ordered, much sooner than I had expected.
All of my questions and requests were answered quickly and fully. Plus the special order UK parts such as PAL tv tuner and keyboard were obtained much quicker than anyone else was able to quote me on.
After checking various places out, I was able to get my 3GHz system for around £1500, rather than the £2300 which UK importers were charging. It took 2 weeks longer, but I am happy with the £800 of spare change in my back pocket.
On a side note, I have noticed other resellers of the Sager systems bad mouthing each other. I can assure you that in my experience, none of these apply to mobileperipherals.com"

The reply she came back with was yes that is was shipped and that I would receive a tracking number via email the next day. And that I should receive the laptop on Wednesday. I did indeed receive the email and the laptop arrived on Wednesday as promised. The coolest feature about mobileperipherals is the live chat on their website. This does actually work and they are fast to respond. I had many emails before and after the purchase, and the reponse time to them was super fast. "When I was in a bussiness trip in Puerto Rico, I decided to buy an "all in one" Notebook, to give me comfort, efficiency and fun at home, in the job and during my trips as Field Engineer. Well I got the NP8886V and I am happy with it.
I would recommend this computer to those who really need to get many multimedia features, a huge screen and hard drive and an oustanding performance. This notebook computer has more features than most desktop computers available in the market. The disadvantages are the weight, and size if it is compared with average notebooks.
As a foraigner, Peruvian, It was impossible for me to order the notebook with a non-american Visa card even in spite of beeing international.
I had to get about US$ 3000 cash money from the bank which only had US$20 bills, put the order on Dec 24th with a money order mailed from Puerto Rico to Omaha and instructing to ship the PC from California to Miami, where I was staying for Christmas prior my departure to Perú, the 29th.
Lynn Konz managed all this operation correctly. Owing to my itinerary, I had no time for any mistake and the notebook was delivered to me on time the 4th day.
Before contacting mobileperipherals.com I also contacted sagernotebooks.com by phone. Besides the difficulties to communicate with asian people, the salesman there told me that the TV Tuner bundled inside was only suitable for USA. I found out that it works by default in NTSC format from any coaxial cable in many coutries in South America. However, according to the software settings, it may also work from an air antenna and has also settings to other TV standards such as PAL."
