"I live in Senegal bought an iPhone 3 GS from Mobile Hot Shots through ebay and had it delivered to a friend of mine in the US who was coming out to Senegal and who brought it with him. From the first time I used the phone it just shut itself down and then it had to be plugged into a charger to switch it on again and showed that the battery was drained. I contacted Mobile Hot Shots and told them I would have to find someone going back to the US to take it for me and send it to them. When they received it back they said that there was nothing wrong with the phone and because it took so long to get back to them, the refund policy didn't apply anymore and they would just send it back to an address I nominated in the US for someone to bring it back to me in Senegal. When the phone arrived back here it was doing exactly the same thing again and when I contacted them to tell them this they didn't even bother to reply to me. I have now had the phone with an Apple service centre in South Africa and they tell me that the motherboard is faulty and needs to be replaced at a cost of $250 which is just less than what I paid for the phone. Mobile Hot Shots is a useless company who don't care about providing what they say will because its obvious that nobody even checked the phone properly when it got back to them even knowing the trouble it took me to get it there and back again."

When I placed my order on a Monday morning, I was assured that it would ship the same day, and that I would receive confirmation via email. The next day...no confirmation email, so I had to call back and discover that no tracking number existed because the order had not even shipped yet. So instead of receiving it in 3-4 days, it took an entire week. This may seem trivial, but when it comes to customer service, a little bit of courtesy goes a long way.
