This is not a good company to deal with. You have to coax support for information concerning your order. Then Support gives you very limited info, that tends to be wrong anyway. With this order, you would think they would tell you right before they deducted the money from your Credit Card, that they didn't have enough stock to fufill your order, and how long the wait would be, instead of dragging you along. Don't have the chip in stock, Don't have new Xboxs in stock, Don't have lasers in stock for refurbished.... Poor sales department, Very poor support system. Stay away from this company, unless you like being taken for a ride...To Hell!"

"Ordered a premodded PS2 contacted them how long it will take received a pretty quick response after awhile, they told me it was out of stock so they promptly refunded me within 1-2 days the refund was in my card account thanks modchipsource.com don't beleive the other reviews they must've just had a bad day.

"Avoid this seller at all costs. I purchased a premod ps2 late march, money was taken from my mastercard that very moment. I received no confirmation or order number. Nothing. I emailed asking for confirmation and tracking, no reply. Emailed again. Nothing. Used thier ticket system stating that I had placed an order the previous tuesday, gave my name and what I ordered, etc...... and then I got a reply stating "when did you order" and nothing more.

Are you friggin kidding me? The message I sent even said when I ordered, he did not even bother reading my darn message! I could not believe it!

To make matters worse I email a few more times trying to be quite calm and requesting tracking. Nothing...... Nothing...

FINALLY I threaten to file a claim with my credit card company and blamo... what do you know... that got his attention!

I got a reply stating that premods take 5-7 days to build\ship as they are built when ordered and not stockpiled. Yeah? Well guess what buddy.... It was well over a week when that message of mine was sent..... And still nothing had even shipped, no confirmation, no tracking, nothing...

He basically said I had not listened to him and refused to accept responsibility for his total and complete failure to do a very simple job. Inform his customer andsupply a product. Well, he stated a refund should be coming and I still have not seen it.... I'll be contacting my creditor Friday to issue a claim if I do not see any type of notification it has been issued.

There are plenty of awesome companies out there with whom to deal with, if anyone wants recomendations dont hesitate to contact me. I've bought dozens of consoles and parts for myself, family, and friends...... Ill be happy to help. Hell, the day I got his second reply trying to pass the buck I ordered elsewhere and guess what? I didnt have to hunt anyone down. Hell... tracking wassent within hours and the thing should be here tomorrow. Now thats service! No stress... No fuss.

Do yourself the best favor you can possibly grant yourself when seeking mod products...

"I ordered a premodded XBox (w/ an Xecuter 2.6 chip)from these guys last month. I was actually surprised how fast it did get here. Within a week of placing the order I had gotten the XBox in the mail. Everything worked as it should. My only beef is that they do charge your credit card before shipment. They do tell you this before you place order so there isn't any deception on their part. But being the paranoid type, I'm usually wary of charges like this on my credit card. Regardless, if someone was looking for a modded system, I would point them in these guys' direction."
