"I can't look up the invoice # since their website is gone! Order was pending for 1 week then the site went down. No one answers their phone or e-mails. I'm guessing that they went out of business yet kept taking folks money until their site-space rental ran out. Pretty sure I'm screwed as VISA won't even back me up since I authorized the purchase. :["

"I ordered 2 modchips from modchipworld.com on 01/02/2007. Was pending till 01/08/2007. Since then it's been processing. It's 01/30/2007, how long does it take to process an order? I live in the US and recently ordered a book from Singapore, I had it in exactly 3 days! I've emailed modchip world with no reply, also called the 866 number and the most you can do there is leave your name and number. I'm very unhappy with the customer service because there is none!!

After more emails and more phone calls, finally a response!!

"Our reseller modchipworld has told us to notify you of this. Your order will ship ASAP (within 2 weeks). Modchipworld is currently going through an upgrade and your item will ship ASAP."

"At first I thought that modchipstore was a good place to order a "HD Advance" because on the HD Advance main website it said that modchipstore was one of the official sellers. However, it still has not shipped my product. It continues to say that it is processing and it is curretly 5 days after the original day I ordered. As of now, this company isn't looking too good. However, if I do get this product, then I will edit this comment.
-Update, on the 24th or somewhere near that date they updated my order and said that they had it processing since the 5th of January. Either their company is BS or they live on another planet where a 2-3 days is a whole month to them.

To the post above. Strange, they said that they had a back order or something similar to that to me. I finally got my response today after a whole month or two, I can't even remeber anymore.

"I waited a month after ordering before contacting them. I was not in a hurry. I am aware that premodded systems usually take awhile to be shipped. But a month is far too long. Modchipworld did not respond to my email so I tried calling on the phone. I spoke with a guy who said that they had been sold out of the Qoob Pro chips for awhile and he offered me a Xeno chip instead for the same price even though Xeno chips cost about $30 less than the Qoob Pro. I looked at their site and they specifically had Qoob Pro chips advertised as "100% in stock."
But I told him I would think about it and call him back. I have called back more than a dozen times and have only gotten voice mail.
I am now trying to get them to cancel and refund my credit card payment. If they continue to ignore my communication I will be forced to file fraud charges with US and Canadian authorities and with my bank in order to get my money back.

"Very unhappy with their service.

Ordered the Xenium SPICE chip from them because their webpage stated that it is in stock.

On December the 5th, which is three days later, sent me a email saying that the order is still in "Process"!!
Asked them why it is still in process as the modchip is in stock, and it took them two days to give me this reply:

Not shipped out yet
still waiting for restock

It is indeed they have no stock!! Then why in the first place they keep saying the chip is in stock on their webpage?

Modchipworld then agree to cancel the order and refund my money but have no response after sending two emails to confirm my refunds since Dec 8th, 2005 (today is Dec 26th, 2005 and I have no news from them yet)

BEWARE THIS WEBSHOP!!!!!!!

First of all, customer service is very bad and rude. It took 3 whole weeks to repond my email. No matter how high is the volume you had mentioned but waiting for three whole weeks is just riduculous. Yes, I have received telephone call from modchipworld.com regarding the matter (after I posted negative feedbacks on many different forums) but that person on the other end is rude. I have already contacted my credit card company regarding on this whole situtation last week. They said if the matter is not resolved when I received my next bill. Mastercard will take action.

I am very disappointed with this whole transcaction. And please we don't like hearing excuse. We like to see actions made.

What I liked most about www.modchipworld.com was their excellent prices and customer service. After placing the order, I received the shipment very quickly. The product was also packaged very well.
