Hi guys. I am here to revue an Italian wall unit that I purchased online from MIG Furniture Design, Inc., www.modern1furniture.com they have really nice selection of modern furniture styles. This one came from the company called SPAR GROUP, I am doing this revue mainly because if you want to by something modern like this and you can not buy it in your local furniture store, you do not know what you are getting, you have to buy it blindly, you do not know the quality, you do not know how is the wood looks like, you do not know if you will like it, how it is going to fit, so I am really hoping that will help people who wants to by modern furniture like this.

This specific wall unit cost me $3000.00, it is pretty pricey but once again if you want to buy some quality furniture like this you have to pay premium because it is not to many options.

This modern wall unit took six-seven weeks for delivery, it was special order like most orders from Italy, this line of wall units is customizable so its all special orders and take some time to arrive, so my advise to order it in advance.

This specific wall unit I got with book shelves, 3 storage units and 2 shelves, they all seat on the 3 pieces base board that lift a wall unit up a couple of inches and give it a good look, this base board is optional but i think you should go with it. Shelves are mounted to the wall using metal brackets, shelf is easily mounted on top of brackets. As you can see on the video it is vary smart design, easy to install and vary well leveled. Overall shelves looks grate, vary steady, the wood is vary thick, shelves weight about 60 lb., all wall unit is vary heavy and steady.

Storage units, they are looks vary nice, opens up vary well. It is a good space inside the drawer, you can see on my video that is large box inside, wood inside is also very well made, I did a lot of shopping and can tell you that is the best product I ever see. Well made mechanism, you do not have to push it hard to close the drawer. An once again I am wary satisfied with the space inside the drawer.

Overall the quality is grate, wall unit looks unique and nice, easy installation cause most unit was installed, installation took me about 1.5 hours.

"Modern Interior Plus has an EXCELLENT COLLECTION, but BEWARE - You may not even get what you ordered after making full payments.

I ordered a queen bed online on 30th March 2010 after talking to their sales person, was told that this bed will arrive at my place by May 10th as the bed was on a container from China. I can expecta delay of a week if shipment gets delayed in customs.. Payment was deducted from my credit card on 3rd April.

I called-up on 10th May - got an answer that my shipment is on schedule and they will call soon.

I called them again on 14th May - this time they told me that the bed was not shipped in the container and it's on the way in another container, expected to arrive by May end...

And this same story is going on since then for last 5 months.

On 24th July I was told that my Bed has assived and should be delivered to my home before end July.

I called up on 30th July - and was given a transporter contact number (Royal Carrier) - his phone was always on voicemail.

On 5th Aug this transported picked-up the phone - he was not aware if Modern Interior Plus ever gave him any bed for delivery, I informed Modern Interior plus and they said they will check and get back(but no update).
Called again almost every day but same status - they will call me in 5 mins (but no reply).

On 12th Aug I was told that Royal Carrier cannot deliver the bed, so they have given it to another trucking co called Halifax. This person also never picked up the phone and I kepy following up on the status almost every day.

On 21st Aug - after repeated follow-ups, they said the Bed was damaged in an accident (Halifax truck was fully damaged as per them).

I asked for refund and was told that THE OWNERSHIP OF THE COMPANY IS NOW CHANGED - SO IT'S DIFFICULT FOR THEM TO REFUND.

They say they can finally deliver the bed in November, but I have no faith on this merchant now as they have done with me in past 5 months - I know their promised date cannot be met.

I'm sleeping down even after paying $2200 for this bed).

Now their toll free number ***-***-****) also does not work which made me worried. I'm now checking legal options for it..

I will update status based on outcome."

"Excellent service. I ordered wall unit from this guys as a special order. Came 2 weeks later than a approximate shipping date but in home delivery was offered for the inconvenience instead of curb side delivery. Love the product and service."
