First, and most important, I will definitely order from them again. Good on-line product selection process, reasonably responsive customer service, good prices and at least at the moment they cover the shipping costs on orders over $50. Considering the weight of screws and such, that s a compelling feature.
The details:
I had some questions on some of the products and from what I understand from my email communications with the company, this is a brand new venture. My guess is that it is a daughter company to Midwest Fastener.
Anyway, the order process was a bit disorganized (Somehow two different orders were created) and there are some gaps in the website (Important product photos missing) but I suspect they both will improve as the dust settles.
I should note that I emailed about the double order and was assured that it would be taken care of and it was.
Payment and subsequent shipment was also a bit slow. Generally when I make an on-line payment, for example with Amazon, etc, it is only listed as pending in my credit card account for perhaps a day. In this case it took three days before it showed as paid. Their policy is shipment within one business day after cleared payment which is what happened.
Overall, my only objections; they indicate in their “About Us” that PayPal is also a payment option but I didn’t see any way to use PayPal and there is no customer service phone number.
