"No community feel. Recently it seems like things are better since Ms. Elizabeth has been around. Not sure how things will be again after she left."
"Teachers have been great, but there seems to be a disconnect with upper management. Quality of food seems to have decreased over the years. Although tuition is high, teachers are paying out of pocket for supplies. I hope management can give the teachers the support they deserve."
"Very sad to see how this school's performance and ability to keep licensed/certified teachers/staff has deteriorated. We can feel that this school has become focused on generating higher profit margins compared to long term goals of being a successful school especially with increasing tution vs declining value. Actual certified/licensed Montessori teachers have and are leaving, and training is barely evident. We are appreciative of the teachers/staff; however, the behind the scenes corporate management seems to have declined."
"Overall the experience has been positive and some teachers are wonderful. The school needs to work on the communication with daily events so parents can prepare. Also, some teachers are not as involved with the students and need to refocus their attention on education."
"Ms. Sherlett has been doing a great job. Unfortunately the amount of primary teachers quitting is concerning and the food being served to the children hasn't been that great. Overall hopeful that the school will be able to hire good qualified primary teachers."
"We have been with the facility for over 5 years. The directors have not gotten enough support from corporate or the regional directors. Since the buy out from Montessori Unlimited, it has just been a gradual decline. Employee salary adjustments and approval for much needed services within the school are slow. We are in Southern California. Cost of living is high. In California, specifically, fast food works get paid a MINIMUM of 20$ an hour. TK programs are expanding across the public school districts. It is difficult to hire good and qualified staff bc they can get paid better elsewhere. Multiple classrooms remain empty because it has been unable to be staffed. We love the staff here but are sad to hear that they are not getting the support from corporate. Everyone is thinking of leaving. If they leave, we will not be staying for the next school year. I hope this issue will be reviewed."
"School was great with the last director and communication was clear. Unsure about the current management since lack of transparency. In the past there was celebration for diff cultures but this year not much happened. No emails went out explaining what was happening for lunar new year. It would be good if the kids got to learn about the different cultures/holidays. Would be good if parents are informed about changes the school is doing especially with the kids schedule. General experience with the new director and assistant director hasn't been very positive."
"It seems like there has been a negative change to the school's staff morale. Teachers and staff from all classes used to be very engaging and motivated; however, there seems to be a shift for the entire school's mood. I am so glad and appreciative to have Ms. Nina and Ms. Hacer as my child's teachers; however, I wish some of the other, newer teachers were friendlier and more engaging. In the past, I would introduce myself and the teachers/staff would always tell me their names and have a proper conversation. My latest experience especially with one of the newer teachers from another class was very cold and blunt - and when I gave her my name, she just said, hi - and walked away without even providing her name. I'm very sad on how things have evolved lately."
"Been great overall. We had livestream service at prior daycare and that was very nice to have for many reasons. Wish we had this at our current one."
"Our experience has been wonderful with this school. We love the Director and all the teachers there!!"
