"UPDATE: Moogr.com has now made good on its claims. I have been refunded for the incorrect order and the products are already on their way back to them. As I've said in this review, I had no other issues with this company and would no longer hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent deal!


My experience with Moogr.com has been a bit mixed. I had incorrectly placed an order on 3/21/2008, then promptly cancelled before re-placing the correct order through them. However, both orders charged and shipped. Moogr.com has promised me that a full refund was issued upon order cancellation and that they would send me a return label via email to ship that order back but to date, 4/4/2008, I have received neither. Efforts to contact moogr.com have led to a voicemail box that is full.

While I do understand that they are a new company and currently understaffed, I also feel that I've been more than patient with them. I cannot afford to pay both charges and have therefore started dispute resolution with my CC.

Moogr.com, if you are reading this, I am of course perfectly willing to send back the incorrectly shipped order, and that will happpen as soon as I receive the label from you. I have no intention of keeping what isn't mine and my CC company knows I still have the merchandise.

Having said all of this, my correct order went flawlessly. It processed and shipped in the timeframe expected and the stuff works perfectly. I got a great deal on the products and, assuming that this "ordeal" is resolved in everyone's favor, I would not allow this one mishap to affect my decision to patronize Moogr.com in the future. I do not harbor any ill will towards the company, it's just a shame that I have to take active steps to resolve this issue. "

"I placed an order for an AMD 4800 processor during the whole Apr 3 pricing fiasco. Moogr.com honored the price that, along with their $20 coupon, was approximately $50 less than other retailers. They also shipped my processor the next day.

Obviously, I'm satisfied with Moogr.com. They honored their posted price for me and I will definitely add them to my list of computer hardware stores that I shop."

"Like others, I was reluctant to spend my hard-earned money on a relatively unknown player on the online retail scene who had a hard-to-get item in stock and at the lowest price I've seen. I'm glad I took a chance though - I ordered a couple of Intel E3110's (Xeon version of the E8400), used a coupon for even greater savings, and had a tracking number within 24 hours.

My only gripe about the whole experience was with FedEx ground taking a whole week to get the items to me (West Coast to East Coast) even though the original arrival date on the tracking page said it would arrive a couple of days earlier. That's hardly a fault of Moogr, but I've had better luck with UPS, and the option for UPS was more expensive so I went with Moogr's default of FedEx.

All in all, a good shopping experience, and now I have another seller to pick from."

Being a new company and such a low price on the Xeon 3110 processor I was a bit skeptical that I would even receive it. But everything arrived as it should. I would like to have seen an invoice included with the box but thats no big deal as I have the electronic copy."

"I was hesitant about ordering from them because they were new, but then I saw that they had google checkout so I decided to give them a chance. My mistake.
I had tried to order a X3350 through them. The order was "in processing: new googlecheckout order"... 3 days... i've used google checkout at least a dozen times with no problems what so ever through buy.com.
I put in a cancel order on the second day since they didn't answer phones, and when you tried to get to an operator, it would say that the number has been canceled.
I left a message on thier answering machine, and got no reponse back. on the day after I left an email to cancel (since that was the only way to contact them) they sent me an email saying that my package was shipped 2day fedex... but they didn't give me a tracking number?

they aren't that good in communicating at all and they've already charged my account.
