"They had an amazing price on a FirstGear jacket with lots of inventory that nobody else had (closeout). I found there own description to be accurate and helpful. They ship to the US for free, but to Canada they charged $70.
This was stated upfront so I can't fault them, but its a lot. It did take 3 weeks by USPS. There is no duty on motorcycle gear into Canada, and I wasn't charged taxes (lucky?) on the order by Canadian customs.
It was shipped within a hour of my order.
Overall I found them fast, honest, with no hidden costs. I would rate them 5 stars if I lived in the US or if the border was open so I could pick it there."
"My husband ordered a schuberth C3 pro split helmet in white and black size large. They sent us a schuberth helmet in neon green size SMALL. Even though their website stated the neon green is out of stock but lo and behold they sent us the wrong helmet in the wrong size with scratches on it. When I called them to inform them of their mistake and wanted to work something out like if they can rush deliver my original order... I was told that the original ordered helmet is out of stock and they will not issue me a refund or any other compensation or help me in anyway until i return this helmet and i wont get my refund until they receive my return. When I told them it came to me scratched already just incase they dont question when they receive the return, they asked me if I wore it and scratched it. My husband is a size large how would he wear a small. So knowing they did not have the helmet we originally ordered, they sent us whatever they had wrong size and wrong helmet then had the audacity to ask me if we had worn and scratched it. So disappointed our whole trip is postponed until we can go buy a hemet plus now my $500 are stuck with a shady company. I suggest buy from a reputable place and read reviews beforehand. "
"I ordered a Klim jacket from them because my usual store didn't have it in stock. After ordering I realized that nobody else had the jacket in stock and that's also when I found their less than stellar reviews here. At that point I assumed that inventory was wrong and I wouldn't be getting the jacket I wanted. Since I was assuming the worst I gave them a call when they opened, expecting to have them try to sell me a different jacket, only to be told that they had my jacket in stock and it would ship that day. A few days later it showed up exactly as I ordered. I couldn't have asked for anything more."
"I ordered a helmet off their website but they didn’t have it in stock. They charged my credit card as soon as I placed my order and then contacted me to let me know they wouldn’t have it for at least a month. They offered me a refund or a different helmet. I selected a refund but I lost $50 on credit card exchange rates in the 2 transactions.
They should really not charge a credit card before they confirm they have the inventory to support an order placed. Or even better insure their website accurately reflects inventories.
At this point I would not use their site again or recommend it to anyone. "

"Ordered Shoes Helmet... Recieved with "paint" defect. Pretty obvious. Aaron said not uncommon. Was willing to give a whopping $35 back to me to keep. Obviously most of this would be money paid to ship back and new one to me. He offered to send a replacement but a day letter reports that the inner liner was cracked and he would have to order a new one from Shoei before shipping. So two helmets both defective and not factory "new". Only good thing I got on clearance. I would never give this guy anything near retail price on items. Better to use one of the other thousand retailers on line. Use with caution!"
"I ordered a Shoei Neotec 2. I received an email the next day saying that they won't ship the the helmet to the US anymore due to "warranty issues". They offered me a "deal" wherein in they would send me a completely different helmet, that I didn't want, for the same price minus 15 euros (this amounted to more money then it was currently listed for on the site). I refused and asked for a refund. A week and several emails later and I still haven't heard back from them or received my money back. I have to dispute the charge. Please, don't fall for the grift like I did. What a scam sandwich. "
