"The HJC SY-MAX III helmet arrived on time today. The first thing I noticed was how much more plush the liner is as compared to the Max II. Not thicker, but softer to the touch.
The next thing was the fit of the helmet. As per HJC's size chart I should wear a large size with my 60 cm head. In the Max 2 I had to order a size up to an XL for a comfortable fit. With the max 3 I ordered a large & the helmet fits w/o any pressure points or issues I had with the large Max 2. So sizing is spot on with the Max 3.
Next was my question about the chin bar. With the Max 2 my chin rubbed against the inside of the chin bar. Pulling the chin bar down on the Max 3, (with a very authoritive, metal on metal click) I cannot touch it with my chin even if I try to.

So the first few minutes with the Sy-Max III, I am very impressed with the improvements HJC made. Tomorrow I will get a chance to put some miles to compare the noise levels. Thank you for your company's great customer service....-Rich

"I bought the Tour Master Response 2.0 boots as a replacement for my previous pair of boots that were worn out. I was impressed with the fit and finish of the boots when they first arrived. I have only worn them for about a week now, and are still breaking them in. My advise for others is to not lace them up too tight, like a shoe or a work book, because the ankle protection will rub. It's not bad when riding, but I wear mine all day at work, and you can definitely feel it after 8 hours. On the bike, I have good feel, and confidence they will protect my feet. I like the suede leather too, as it allows me to wear them around the office and in the factory without looking out of place. "
