"I ordered a textile jacket online. It was manufactured by a different company than I usually order from, but I ordered an extra large anyway as that is what I usually wear. The jacket arrived very quickly and was exactly what I wanted. However, when I tried it on it was very, very snug around my shoulders and uppper arms. I contacted Motorcycle Gear and explained the situation. Their courteous staff got me a return authorization form very quickly and I returned the jacket for in-store credit which I will use to order the same jacket in a different size. I have made several purchases from Motorcycle Gear over the last three years and have always been very satisfied with their products and service."

"I ordered a Scorpion EXE-1000 helmet as the features appealed to me and I know what size my head is from years of experience. I ordered a MEDIUM to fit my size 7 1/4 head but I couldn't even get it on my head.

I brought it to the attention of customer service and they responded with " we can't guarantee......everybody's head is different" and other excuses. It got kicked up to the managers level and he suggested I order a LARGE, and I did.

However, the LARGE was so tight that I actually received a minor injury to my ear. I arranged for a return and asked for a replacement EXTRA LARGE but they processed it as a refund without any further comments.

A search of the internet produced a wealth of information indicating that these helmets are quite undersized. A customer review currently listed on the helmet page says the same.

I just cannot believe that they had no knowledge of these helmets being undersized and I also cannot believe that they simply stood their ground without offering a customer a bit of credibility. Poor marks all around.

I will probably by a Scorpion EXO-1000 in EXTRA LARGE but it will be from another seller."
