"Five star service. Received my poster quickly and it was in great shape, Exactly as ordered."
"So far I'm dissatisfied and can't review because I haven't received my order, and I haven't got any information when I gonna receive it.. so sorry!"
"surprised a friend with this item as a "house warming gift". It was a perfect addition to his game room. It is a room with a pool table and dart board done in all black and white and who doesn't think "the hustler" isn't fitting for this atmosphere? Thank You for coming through and helping me be "the cool friend"."
"Received items FAST!!! Great plus! I was a tad bit disappointed with the blurry dark quality of the prints I recieved. Customer service worked well with me in getting a refund. "
"It was a good poster and shipped quickly without and damage to the poster."
"I didn't ever have such a fast delivery to Europe from USA.
The site said 4-6 weeks, the package came after 5 days,
so I'll give Moviepostershop a five star rating, not just in terms of delivery but also sortiment, because I couldn't find this Miami Vice poster nowhere else."
"Great product and good delivery, very satisfied and will continue to order from them "
"I purchased the Avengers poster (27" x 40") pre-framed in the aluminum frame. I'm really pleased with the quality of both the poster & frame. Btw, their website states the same measurements for the wood & aluminum frames but the aluminum frame actually measures 27.25" x 40.25" (outside dimensions). Note, that's for the poster frame without matting. The matted poster frame is larger. It was delivered in 9 business days from the date of order, which was a little sooner than the estimated date of delivery. The only thing that surprised me was they don't provide a tracking number when the poster shipped. Overall, a great experience and I will be ordering from them again."
"Great service. Good quality. "
"I recently placed my first order and I am more than pleased. The posters arrived quickly and they look great. I will definitely be ordering more in the future."
"The "catchy title" said it all ..."
"Great selection, prompt service, item arrived in perfect condition."
"I ordered a bunch of car themed movie posters from this place. Inexpensive prints, quick delivery and they look awesome! Thanks! "
"I did not receive an email with the shipping method or a tracking number. "
"Plenty of people have talked about the service and shipping, so I'll spare you that and just say that It's not up to modern standards, but the turnaround is fine and I feel I can buy with confidence on those fronts.
I do have to mention that the packaging is very good. They ship their posters wrapped in sheets of easy-to-rip paper, sandwiched securely between two taped-together pieces of heavy-duty cardboard placed in a perfectly-sized cushioned envelope. Good on them for not rolling it up in a tube. I can't stand that.
I've bought two posters from them now, for my two favorite Satoshi Kon films... ...Perfect Blue and Paprika. To be fair, the previews do reflect the quality of the scans. The artifacts you see there show up in the prints. But I don't think I'd be interested in paying $$ for their larger prints if this quality is the norm.
I should clarify... ...this isn't a matter of poor scan resolution or enlargement artifacts. These look more like repeating jpeg artifacts, or perhaps a squished pallet. The Paprika one in particular has obvious blocking and color issues. Basically, they're mid-res (passable,) web-quality (wat?!) images. Why? I don't know.
I can't really fault them for it, though. Almost all of the Anime movie poster sellers use the exact same source images. I think they might actually be bootlegs or something. This was really all they could get?
The small prints really aren't terrible, though. I can't make out the artifacts from a couple of feet away... ...they just look bad up close. The actual print job, ink, and paper is pretty high quality, too. I was quite pleased with that. It's a step above many more expensive posters I've bought from major retailers. It's very obvious to me that if the scans were better, these would be top-quality posters.
For $5 posters, I really can't complain. I wouldn't frame them, buy canvas prints, or anything silly like that, but I will buy more to fill some wall space.
Also wish I knew who makes their little foam poster squares, because they are the best I've ever used."
