I ordered a part that was competitively priced. After six days without a shipping notification, I contacted customer service to check the status of the order. To their credit, I received a prompt reply that not only had it not been shipped but the order had been canceled. I would think in a competitive market such as electronic equipment that every customer counts and a company would want to have the mechanisms in place to effectively communicate with their customers in a timely and professional manner. In a business where time matters, waiting 6 days only to find out that I would have to find the product somewhere else has a significant impact on our ability to deliver as promised and on schedule.

I have no intention of ever using MrSparePartsOnline; however, I hope this feedback helps improve the experience or at least the expectations for future customers. "

Then I received an email informing me the item was out of stock and my money would be refunded. It was some days later. Why doesn't your website update its product line to reflect an item is out of stock so customers don't have to go through the pointless exercise of ordering an out of stock item and then waiting for a return of their money?"

"I ordered a replacement power supply for an HP Pavilion laptop. They sent me an old beat up, garbage-worthy, Gateway power supply. The jack was the wrong size and couldn't have been used had I wanted to. The power cord had about a 6-inch section that had been (poorly) repaired with electrical tape and looked unsafe to put on my kid's laptop. Besides this the entire package was dirty and smelled like it had been in a wet basement for years. I wish I could post a picture of this. I went to small (micro) computer store and purchased a new one for less than I paid for this piece of garbage. Having said all that, they were very nice in refunding my money and told me to throw it out. "
