"I have experienced slow returns process in the past with MrPorter, nobody there could tell me what was happening for a day but the return was eventualy processed. Better late than never.
Last week I ordered a pair of jeans in size 31, they turned up and seemed large. The labels on the outside said 31 but I checked the label on the inside and they were a 32.
I sent them back for an exchange and rang them, I'd paid £5 for delivery in 3 business days so asked for a refund of this money as I didn't get the jeans I'd ordered in 3 business days. Originally they said no but eventually agreed to give me the refund. I had an email yesterday morning saying they'd received my return but still haven't despatched my exchange. Considering they sent me the wrong size I thought they'd process as fast as possible. Don't understand how it takes over 24 hours! "

"Mr. Porter is horrible. I have had two bad experiences with them. First, I ordered an item that I needed the next day. According to their website, items ordered before 5:30 are shipped the same day. Mine was not shipped on time so I did not receive it as needed. Second, I really wanted a Berluti bag and was put on a wish list. I received an email letting me know the bag was reserved for me for 24 hours. I went to purchase the bag but it was gone. I called customer care and they said it was an electronic error and "happens all the time." Mr. Porter cannot be trusted. They have messed up twice with me. Go to better online sites like Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus. I would never go back to Mr. Porter."
"Having shopped from Mr. Porter for a few years the one and only time I had to return an item, a Paul Smith bracelet, they have been truly terrible.
It takes weeks to get a reply, and if you speak to any people, including supervisors, they promise the earth and disappear, never to be heard from again.
I do not usually write reviews, but my experience has been so bad I would urge you not to shop with them, incase a problem arises.
I am still awaiting a reply from Mr. Porter, and have in fact appointed my solicitor to write to them as they are legally bound to rectify the situation; the good was faulty. It may sound a little over the top, but they have really pushed my buttons and just don't care.
Shop elsewhere; Match, Harrods, Selfridges, etc, they provide a better after sales care. At least, they provide SOME care!"

"Do not use Mr. Porter. Mr. Porter is a scam website. I ordered a product before 5:30 pm. It states online that orders placed before 5:30 pm can be sent overnight for a $20 fee. The product was not sent out as promised. I even had an online chat with a customer service representative at 7:30 pm that evening who guaranteed the product would be sent out that evening. The product was not sent. Mr. Porter is fraudulent and is not a legitimate retailer. They are just common thieves as they charge money without providing the appropriate service."
"I have mixed feelings about this site. A great selection, although sometimes overpriced (and sometimes very overpriced, especially on technology), excellent information about products, sizes, etc. However, more than one there have been trouble with my orders - one went missing (due not really to MrPorter but the carrier in Germany, where I was at the time), trouble with returns of possibly faulty items, etc.
Still, most orders have been delivered faster than advertised, without any problems whatsoever. And their customer service, while sometimes a bit slow to actually solve problems, are way way above the competition. Way above it. (And no, I am not a paid reviewer! :-) )"

"Mr. Porter is the platinum standard in purchasing men's fashion items online. Their customer service is unrivaled, their merchandise is top-quality, and their sales offer excellent value (though at full price their goods are quite pricey). I have placed probably 50 orders with Mr. Porter and have not once been dissatisfied. I did have to make one return on a pair of sneakers that didn't fit properly, but it was entirely painless. I don't know about the experiences other reviewers have had (I think the 1-star guy is maybe a little too upset over having to return his jacket?), but my transactions with Mr. Porter have all been superlative."

"Ordered a leather jacket. I sent them pictures about the leather to see if it was defective or damaged. Got confirmation from them that it was damaged and that wasn't part of the jacket. It was the last jacket, didn't offer me any options, just return. Don't expect anything from this company, customer service is below par!"
