Delayed Shipment Turned into a Great Day!

"My order was supposed to be in stock, but was delayed for 6days. I called later in the day when my order was to ship and it still had not left the shipping dept. for whatever reason. Brandy was kind enough to take the shipment to Fedex on her way home from work and ship it. She also made sure I had tracking via email when she got home. Great company! Great customer service. Good people. "

Worst of the worst

"I odered some Metkon DEMPAX Grit Paper Grinding Discs, and cost me $ 400 bucks, after waiting a week I mailed them for the shipping number and nothing.
Then after 2 weeks they tell me that the manufacterer in Turkey will send the shipping number because MSI dont have it in stock.
It have been 2 months since place the order, 6 mails, 1 call and don't have an answer.
I'm going to cancel the order, hope I can have my money back.
I'm really angry.

Sells defective calipers

"MSI-Viking sold me a defective Mitutoyo caliper. When I called the repair department to see if I should return it to MSI-Viking or Mitutoyo, they suggested I send it to MSI’s repair department, and “they would make it right”. I sent it in on my own dime, and days later they wanted to charge me $110 for repair and calibration, which was the same price as a new one. When I told them it was defective from the start, they refused to repair it, and did not even know that I had purchased it from MSI. When I refused the repair cost, they then invoiced me for $25, and sent the caliper back with grease all over it and more damaged tips. They did not care that they sent me a damaged caliper from the start, and refused to make it right. Really poor customer service. I warn you about MSI. Read their reviews other places, and don’t make the same mistake I did!"

Stay away!!!!

"I can only say that after spending over 20K on mitutoyo calipers,bores etc..I will never spend another penny at Msi-viking. There are better places to do business with, and better pricing also. Unprofessional, untrained staff in both sales and calibration dept. Should have respected the reviews from the unhappy employees on various sites before I gave these dingdongs any business."

Their customer service is the worst

"before I placed my order, I wanted to check the stock availability of all the parts. I sent the email, and they replied guaranteeing that all parts would take about a week to be shipped, some straight from their warehouse and some need to be ordered from the manufacturer. After placing my order, I got only two parts out of the seven I ordered. The rest of it they said it would take up to 3 weeks to arrive.
So, I canceled my order and sent back the parts I received. Waited for the refund, nothing came. Sent an email about it to their customer service, nothing happened.
After that, I raised a dispute with Msi to PayPal about Msi. Msi didn't respond. Escalated the dispute to a Claim, PayPal said they would wait for 10 days for the seller to respond. 10 days pass, also Msi didn't respond. Finally, after a month and 11 days, I got my money back from PayPal.

Bottom line, if the time is of the essence, don't order from them
