"This is the worst company I have ever done business with. They ship wrong products and refuse to accept responsibility. They charge $20.50 for shipping productts that weight .5lbs and charge a 20-40% restocking fee when you get the wrong product. They did this to me twice in a row and I still have the wrong product. They refuse to discuss matters over the phone, referring me to thhe ""website" where theyy oonlly annswer in rude comments."
"I purchased two Compaq batteries as a gift for my nephew from the computer since they provide good prices. However, when I have time to deal with it, I noticed that the battery they send me, one of them is the wrong one (different part#) and the right one did not work. I complained to the customer service and they said it passed the refund period and said they did not carry the wrong battery and refused to handle the case. I would never buy from the company and forewarn others from doing so."
"Well, the price was right, but that's about all I can say for them. I needed that part two weeks ago, and I still don't have it. After no word from them for a couple of weeks, I e-mailed them to ask where my order was -- no response. Today I hunted down their phone number - no easy feat since it doesn't seem to be on their website - and was told they are unable to process debit cards, despite mine being a Visa... Apparently they are only an amateur store. I canceled the order, and I won't be ordering from them again."
"These guys ripped me off! I ordered a CDROM, which turned out to be defective. They blew off my many requests for an exchange. Finally they said the 15 day (!) warranty had expired.
So--My bad. I should have read the fine print. They have a ridiculously short 15 day warranty--AND THEY START COUNTING THE DAY YOU PLACE THE ORDER. That's right--if you order on the 1st of the month, they might ship it out on the 3rd; with UPS ground you might not receive it until the 7th or 8th--so your warranty is 50% over before the device comes in the door!
These people were absolutely awful to deal with. No help whatsoever on the phone, and they ignore my emails. "
"Looking at the few reviews previously posted here, I was hesitant about ordering from Multi-com, but I'm glad I did. I needed an additional redundant power supply for a Compaq server that I have. I wasn't exactly sure about the model number on the power supply, so I guessed and ordered the part. It arrived overnight, as I had specified. It turned out, however, that I had ordered the wrong part. After emailing their RMA department, I received a reply within an hour with an RMA number and shipping directions. They cross-shipped the correct part number after I supplied them my return tracking number. I have not yet received the correct part, but I am very impressed with their service during this transaction so far. Unless I make a followup post, you may assume this transaction went very well. Check these guys out if they have what you need, I don't think you'll be disappointed."
