Checked PayPal account and found that the order had been cancelled by MusicGearForLess for no apparent reason (at least one that was given to me). Unacceptable way to do business. "Ordering from an unknown site with a questionable name is always a bit of a dice toss, but in the case of Music Gear For Less, the gamble paid off! I wanted to purchase an Eminence Swamp Thang speaker in the 16-Ohm configuration, and although it was listed on their website, there was no apparent way of selecting 16 versus 8-Ohm impedance. I called the Customer Service number and was amazed to actually have a live person pick up the phone! Not only was the operator courteous, they corrected the website while I was on the phone, allowing for the drop-down impedance menu to appear as we spoke. Real customer service! I immediately ordered the speaker on July 24th at a great price, and paid via PayPal. I never did receive any e-mail acknowledgement from MGFL that the order had been shipped; however, six calendar days later the double-boxed brand-new speaker arrived via UPS in perfect condition! Looking at the shipping label, the package had come directly from the Eminence speaker manufacturer; apparently MGFL does not actually stock everything they show on their website, instead using the original sources for at least some of their sales. Not a concern for me; given the low price and the prompt delivery, I would not hesitate to order from these folks again. Highly recommended!"
