"I have been making purchases from MyAopen.com for over five years now and have always had excellent results from them. When they have a question they call me. They even corrected an error on memory type for a system I was building several years ago before I purchased the wrong one for my PC. Aopen parts have always been the beckbone of systems I build, and I still have one system running that is almost 14 years old now with mostly Aopen parts inside. MyAopen is a great site to get parts from and the service and shipping has never been a problem for me. I hope everyone else has the same experiences I have had with them. "

This looks like it's basically a 2-person team, one who takes the orders, the other who ships.
-DID NOT GET THE PARTS I PURCHASED
-DID NOT GET THE SERVICES I PAID FOR
-THE (WRONG) ITEMS WERE DELIVERED LATE
-THERE WAS NO REPLY TO MY EMAIL AFTER 4 BUSINESS DAYS, SO I ACTUALLY HAD TO CALL TO GET ANY FEEDBACK
-THEY WOULD NOT AGREE TO REFUND ANY MONEY, ONLY TO "THROW IN A UPS BACKUP" WHICH I DON'T NEED.
-TO EVEN GET THAT, I WOULD HAVE TO RETURN THE ENTIRE UNIT AND WAIT FOR THEM TO WORK ON IT AND GET IT BACK TO ME (2 WEEKS TURNAROUND).
This was just unacceptable service... I buy around $3-4000 worth of electronics per month online, and this was BY FAR the worst service and most dishonest company I've ever dealt with.
DO __ NOT __ BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE !!!!
Do what I DIDNT do, which is READ ALL THE REVIEWS FOR THIS COMPANY... you'll find you have a 60-65% chance of getting ripped off by these people.

"Good price, hard to find certain a-open stuff out there and this store carrys alot. Customer service was pretty good. I have a defective led on my case (h700b full tower) for which they helped me contact the company (aopen) about replacing. i have talked to 2 customer service employees at a-opens headquarters but they said they would ship it to my address, i even gave them the serial number and stuff, but in the end i am still minus my power led (wish there was somewhere to write a review about the companys service).
myaopen seems a much better place though i just wish they would help me more on getting this led, its just a simple little thing."

"I recently bought a barebones aopen 1557 gls. The price was very good, and i took a chance. The package tracking number was emailed the day after it shipped, and I got it the day after that. The unit was well secured, a box inside of a bigger box with lots of foam. I put the laptop together but the memory was bad (i got this from another retailer) and so I called up support and I didnt get put on hold. The sales rep was very helpful and remembered who I was and called up my order quickly. The sales tech told me to swap out the memory for pc2700 and that would fix it. The computer worked and it booted. Through the buying and process myaopen always answered my emails that day, or the day after with good answers. The product is very solid, reliable and the support is excellent. I am very pleased for now and I would buy again at such good prices and good support."

"I received a defective keyboard. I followed the RMA procedure and paid to ship the keyboard back. They shipped one back which was also defective. It may have even been the same keyboard. Since then, they have failed to respond to two more RMA requests. I definitely could not recommend anyone to make a purchase from this company."
"One of the few resellers who handle low-profile items. I needed a modem for a new computer I've built for my Niece. The case was considered half-height (low profile)and the MB did not have a modem built into it. I thought that I was going to have to settle for an external modem. Found MyAopen.com on Google under "low-profile modems." At $15 it seemed a bargain but the $9 shipping charge (I live 60 miles away) seemed a little high. Still, $24 was a bargain for something so hard to find. I ordered it on Sunday eve and received it on Wednesday. Very impressed! I would definately order from them again (I may investigate walk up service, though, to save the high shipping costs. The modem works great and was easy to install. I would deal with them again."

"There isn't to much good to say about these people. There website has no up to date availability info on their products. There method is to wait for someone to order the product then tell them it is out of stock and unavailable. Customer service is mediocre at best depending on who you talk to. If you want to change an order it is as if you were pulling teeth. I've been trying to get order situated for the past week. The guy behind the toll free number knows absolutely nothing, he cannot even edit an order. I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND THESE PEOPLE IF YOU CAN GO ELSEWHERE. Consider it a gamble."
