"Sham artists running an exceedingly sloppy business.

I phoned them (at my expense) to verify that they had the item I wanted in stock (a NetVista computer). I was told that it was in stock. I immediately submitted my order (web only - no phone orders). No email was sent confirming order. I sent an email requesting status of the order. It was ignored. Today I phoned them (again at my expense) and was told that the item was on backorder. They never bothered to notify me. Now I have to explain to management why they don't have the system that they were expecting.

Thanks for nothing.

"Ordering from MyPC21 was a horrible experience. It was a perfect example of how NOT to run a business. I placed an order for a Xircom Rex 5001 microPDA. Initial placement of the order was fine. Several days later I still had not received a confirmation email or tracking number. I logged onto the website and clicked on the link which is supposed to give you a tracking number. No tracking number was present. I then emailed mypc21 requesting a tracking number. One was emailed back to me and a couple days later I received my microPDA. I had ordered a brand new Rex 5001. What I received was a used Rex 5500. It was obviously used as there were multiple scuffs on it, and an RMA printout from Buy.com was stuck in the instruction manual!!!! Further, it was dead on arrival! Completely non-functioning. At this point I contacted mypc21 by phone and explained that I had ordered a brand new Rex 5001 PDA, but received a used and non-functional one. I spoke with an individual named TJ. He made no apologies to me, and frankly didn't seem to care that they were shipping out a used product under the guise of a new one. He told me that I could ship it back to them and they would send me out a new one. After mentioning that they had commited fraud by falsely advertising a product, he agreed to pay return shipping charges. Weeks passed and no new PDA arrived. Five days ago, I called and asked for a tracking number to the new PDA which they were supposed to have sent to me. Again speaking with TJ (the only person that ever picks up the phone at mypc21), he said he would have to call shipping to get the number and would call me back in fifteen minutes. Five days and three phone calls later I finally talked to TJ again. He now says that the product is out of stock and billing is issuing me a credit. I have not received a credit yet. Needless to say, my experiences with mypc21 have left a horrible taste in my mouth. I will never order from them again."
