"This was part of my Christmas gift to my wife and it arrived well ahead of time. The garnet necklace and ring was just as described on the site and well finished. My wife loves it! I was a bit dissapointed that there were no matching earrings displayed for this item, so I had to order some from a different site which arrived later than I expected. I'm an experienced gemologist and I have to say that the garnets were high quality, the checkered cut brings out the bright red from within the stones even though its a dark tone, and the red sparkle can be seen from every direction. This phenomena reminds me of traditionally cut rubies. Overall I think I got a good deal and I'll be back looking for more deals!"
