BUYER BEWARE! PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!

"Right from the get-go, I should have been suspicious of this company. In January 2016, I purchased an annual contract for $199.95. I REJECTED their attempts to sell me virus protection. Next month my credit card showed the $199.95 PLUS $59.88 FOR THEIR SOFTWARE PACKAGE. I complained, they apologized, and the charge was removed the next month. I got a lot of help from them that first year, so I renewed for the second year (2017). Then a similar thing happened. On my credit card bill was the annual charge PLUS $18.95. I complained again, they apologized, and that money was refunded. If only the rest of my experience with them was as simple as this.

Eleven months into my second year of working pretty well with them, I got a call from a technician in India advising that their server had a serious breakdown and the company was going out of business. "By law," he said, "we must return the money our customers spent for the year's service." He provided me with MY OWN UNIQUE CUSTOMER I.D. Why wouldn't I trust him? He said he had to install a temporary software package to be able to return the money to my checking account. I allowed him to take remote control of my mouse. Why wouldn't I? It had been done 7 or 8 times in the past with no bad outcomes. He went into my online banking program and stole $3,200 from my savings account.

This HAD TO BE a former employee or a CURRENT employee because he had my unique Customer ID. I called the company to ask if they were going out of business and was told they are not. When I told them what happened, they said I had been scammed. I already knew that!! They accepted NO responsibility, were evasive about where their offices were, wouldn't admit that this had to be one of their employees, and wouldn't let me call directly to the billing department to request a refund for the year's contract.

This has been a nightmare! And, by the way, I can't find any proof that they are, indeed, a Microsoft partner.
