I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering

"Completely negative experience.
I ordered 8 items at the start of November 2021. A month had passed and there were no updates, so I emailed, to be told 2 of the items were being sent and the other items were on order with suppliers - despite the fact they show as being in-stock on the website.

An issue here is I'm an international customer, so delays can be expected, especially with Covid too.
Well, I received 2 of the items as promised, within about a week of being sent. I was happy with the items, but not the service.
Well over a month had passed again, so I emailed and was informed they thought my order had been completed with the 2 items sent in early December. Like everyone else, I'm speaking to Lori. She's polite and relatively helpful, to a point.

I'm getting a further 3 items sent and 3 refunded. What has angered me, besides the delay, is the fact I'm having to chase my own order. Not just that, but when I ordered initially, alarm bells began to ring when the business is mentioned as part of Labe stores. Multiple businesses and multiple areas for items to be shipped from is always suspect.
Will I automatically refunded...well, I'm dubious. Why are they allowed to sell items not in stock - which haven't been in stock for months?

Do Not Use if you want your items with any expediancy

"My original order was placed on May 16th. Given that Covid HAS slowed down a lot of things especially with small business I waited nearly a month before asking why nothing had even shipped. Like a lot of the reviewers on here I was told it was an issue with the suppliers. It wasn't until I asked for a refund that she shipped *SOME* of my items, telling me two of them were out of stock. We went back and forth for MONTHS with the same excuse of the supplier not shipping items to her. We are not almost 4 months post order, and she JUST shipped my other two items. I wish I had read these reviews before buying and it definitely taught me a valuable lesson of reading reviews BEFORE I purchase from a small online business. "

"I have had the most unpleasant transaction with Lori Anne Brown Enterprises. I purchased an item on Feb 10, 2012. It was to be sent to another address. On March 16th, after verifying that my mother had still not received the item, I started e-mailing her with no response. I called her and she informed me that she had called the manufacturer and was waiting for a response. One week later, when I still hadn't received any correspondance back from her, I sent her an e-mail stating that if I did not hear from her by the next business day, I would be contacting paypal for a refund. Filed a dispute with paypal and within 3 days my mom had received a package, but guess what, it was not the exact item I ordered! She had done a swith-a-roo! The item was similar, but not the one I had ordered! I sent an e-mail to paypal in regards to the dispute, and still haven't received anything back from them. I am finished doing business with this woman. She is shady and has the WORST customer service! DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM HER UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PROBLEM!!! I believe that paypal has made the assumption that because she sent out an item, even though it was the wrong one, that the dispute is resolved. If this is the case, I will most likely not be doing business with them in the future as well. I hope they drop her as someone they do business with."

"I ordered 2 items on January 5th. I received the first item after a month. I called about every other week checking on the second item, and each time some one named Lori answered and was very polite and said that the supplier hadn't sent the item but it should be in soon. Well its been 19 weeks ,to the day, since I placed my order and the story is the same. She probably forgot that she had even said, more than once, that the supplier had already sent out the item to her. Today I called to cancel the second item and ask for a refund, she said she wouldn't be able to issue the refund directly to my credit card since it had been more than 30 days. She said she could do a refund by check or PayPal. I chose check, and she said that she would get it out later in the week. Today being Wednesday, I really don't have much faith in that either.


I just had to update this post. It is now June 6th. I have not received my refund. I just called the store about my money, and I was told that it should be sent out today. We'll see.

"BUYER BEWARE! I ordered 2 simple little vials back in September of 2010. It is now February 12, 2011 and I still have not gotten my vials. I've called Lori Anne Brown twice. The first time was right before Christmas and she told me she had one in stock she'd send out right away and she would order another and get that out asap. Didn't happen. I called again on January 18, 2011 and she appologized now because her computer apparently crashed, but it's funny how she can find the information when she wants. Again I was told she had one of the two items I ordered in stock and would send it out right away. Didn't happen. Didn't hear from her. I called for the last time just now, Feb. 12, 2011 for a refund. I told her if she needed the $22.00 that she stole from me that bad, to just keep it. She said it's not that, it's that she's a "one woman" business and she's "overwhelmed". Her exact words. Well, if she's that busy and overwhelmed then she probably doesn't need anymore business to deal with. I will not do business with someone who does not keep communication open and steals from honest, hard working people whose only fault is liking and appreciating the products she has to sell. I guess I'll skip the middle man (Lori Anne Brown) and hit up the places she gets her products from myself. And, I will be telling those merchants how Lori Anne Brown runs her business with their products. I don't think real business people and honest merchants will appreciate Lori Anne Brown of Mystic Convergence bringing their good names down with her. I'd push to cut all ties with her. I will also be reporting her to the Better Business Bureau as I told her I would. I actually read some of these reviews to Lori on the phone and she acted surprised and said she's never seen them. So if you have complaints...make sure Lori Anne Brown gets a copy as well! Send them to whomever can read and warn them of this dishonest "business woman". Skip the middle man and get your products straight from the source or find a reputable and honest merchant. Lori, maybe if you did read your own reviews and take to heart the phone calls, emails and other complaints you got then perhaps you would change your business practices and customer service. I doubt it though since you seem to be one of those people full of excuses yet nothing to back it up. You do not have a good name in business and you truly give no service to potential customers. That's a sad, and destructive way to do business. "

"Very disappointed in service. Ordered on June 20th (and paid) Never heard anything except that my order was processed..that was 18 days ago! She emailed back yesterday and said my item was just mailed. (and that she was running behind) I buy on-line a lot and have never had this problem before..It's simply TOO long to wait."

"DON"T USE!!!!

Never delivered merchandise. Denied receiving correspondence. Did eventually refund (Paypal). Made excuses. Jacked up prices. Rather rude on the phone!
