"I bought a pc from "my video pc" 4 years back. I had numerous problems from the start with this company... For beginner, I paid $2,500 for a video editing pc. I was un-educated at the time about how to properly buy a pc. Any how, after buying my pc from myvideopc, I disregarded the warranty and opened her up only to realize I had no clue what I was buying. I researched every installed piece of hardware in my pc. I realized soon after that myvideopc never listed or mentioned exactly what brands was installed. I hooked my new pc up only to find out windows was not installed... I called them, they said I hadn't purchased windows so they didn't install it... Not to mention it took a whole month to get my pc in the first place. They wanted me to ship the pc back so they could install windows. I said no way Ill do it. So I installed windows my self easy as 1,2,3. Well my pc was not working only to have to ship the pc back to them. They could not figure out why my pc was not working. It took them two more weeks just to figure out what was wrong. Well they finally called and said it was a GPU issue and they had to replace the GPU. They did just that and shipped it back "took one week". When i received my pc I of course opened it up and looked at the video card before i plugged it in. They replaced my brand new 2gb GPU with a refurbished 1gb GPU that valued about $60. I know this because there is a refurbished sticker right on the GPU lol... When I plugged it in to see if it worked, the pc did not work. I called them yet again after doing some research and learned the ram was not compatible with my build. I told them that, they argued, got loud, challenge my wits, I hung up and fixed it my self. I also learned the whole pc was build from refurbished parts except the CPU and the pc case. I researched every single component of this pc and priced it all out to see how much it cost to simply build this pc with brand new parts. $1,500 is what it would of cost me. I paid $2,500 for refurbished parts, horrible service and one hell of a ride. "
"Dealing with this company was the biggest mistake I've ever made. They shipped an expensive pc to me in California and within three days the video card stopped died. After many attempts to get it working, I shipped it back to Florida (at my expense) to have it shipped back to me ten days later (again at my expense) with absolutely no changes... as well as informing me they were voiding my warranty because I'd opened the case to try and re-seat the card. I ended up paying another $700.00 to have the pc rechecked and overhauled by a tech in California, and we discovered most of the hardware was cheap OEM equipment. The computer has continued to crash despite a great deal of money being put back into it and it's been a year now. Buyer beware. They have a slick website that makes it look like you're getting quality service and equipment... the rig they sent me was by far the most expensive and unreliable piece of junk I've ever owned, and they did absolutely nothing to take any responsibility for it."
"I promised these people I would leave them great reviews!! They were fantastic! I got exactly what I was hoping for. I'm not very computer savvy and I am glad I went through them. They gave me great suggestions based on what I wanted to be able to do with my new PC. I had a few setback getting all my programs installed because i wasn't sure how to properly use all the hard drives i had but they were quick to help. I don't buy computers very often since video editing is just a hobby of mine but you can bet that when I buy my next computer it will be through them!
