Intuitive and Easy to work with, great customer support

"I've been using 5 products VideoPad, Debut, Pixillion, prism, and PhotoPad since 2021. This year I got a new computer and needed to move the software over from an old Win 7 machine. I emailed NCH tech support and they got back to me within a day and made it simple. They sent the links and keys needed without even asking what software I owned and I was up and running in under 10 minutes. This is the software and support you want. "

The most maddening refund process I've ever experienced.

"One day after purchasing some software, I decided that it didn't meet my needs. The word "refund" was in the subject line. I requested a refund. Clearly. Specifically. I proceeded to have several interactions with support where they completely ignored what I was clearly asking for and pretended I needed assistance reinstalling the the package. I asked for a refund. I asked for them to give my money back. I asked why getting a refund required me to reinstall software I didn't want. It hit ridiculous when I was assured a support engineer was working on my issue. I sent a copy of my receipt and asked them why in the name of all that's holy I needed a support engineer to process a "no nonsense" refund. I don't know what lightbulb went off, but I finally got a message that my request was forwarded to billing. I hasten to add that the form I originally submitted was the one I was sent to when I clicked the link to see the conditions for a refund. It was Kafka. It was Monty Python. It is absolutely the last time I ever even consider buying something. I did get my refund, but it was chock-full of nonsense. Avoid at all costs."

They have tried to make Doxillion work for me.

"I saved hundreds of files to portable drives when I became ill. When I recovered, I bought a new computer; I had a number of portable hard drives with many files in .epub format stored, but no longer the portable e-book reader nor my old computer that I had used to read and edit them. I purchased Doxillion conversion software so I could access all of these stories, but it could not convert these files for me. I have sent copies of these files to NCH software, but they can't convert them either. The only thing they have suggested is that maybe these files are password protected, something I have never done with any of my files (maybe I should, but I don't own anything that needs that kind of security). They have tried valiantly – I can't fault their effort, but they can't get Doxillion to work on these files either. I told them yesterday to just forget about it and I would write this off as unfortunate history, but I found one more message in my e-mail today, and my response to that led me to this web site. I don't see where what I have written will actually do anyone any good, but it actually improved my sense of frustration."

Excellent Customer Support

"I am still on my learning curve with the PhotoPad Photo Editor (Pro Edition) software I purchased. But, so far so good!
It is intuitive enough and offers many great features. The price was great and I do believe it will serve my purposes just fine.
I did have a relatively minor tech support issue, which was promptly resolved by the NCH Tech Support Team (thank you Gigi!).

Computer died, NCH software support GREAT for getting Debut and VideoPad going

"I have used NCH software for years - since the early 2000's. My computer died and going through the instructions I wasn't positive how to get the video software going because the version I had was a a few years old.

About 9PM (US central time) Friday evening I sent a support request to NCH figuring on getting things going Monday. Their response came through 2 hours later and it was perfect to get things going.

I have always been impressed by their support as well as their products.

Long story short. Sweet, just super sweet!

"I bought my Express Scribe but kept it in the drawer. Yes! Afraid of change and carried on using my old viewer. Not sure of the exact time, say about 2 years ago I registered my license and took the plunge. Wow, never looked back. Sound is perfect with options to enhance - I do court proceedings transcripts and that is very stressful because most audio is of bad quality. With Scribe I can make out what is said as it is important, it is evidence and lives depend on it. I take my work serious, I love it.
Recently my laptop crashed, we call it that. I had to factory reset and wait for it, lost everything that was on it.
With Scribe missing and not being able to fit the downloads into my schedule, I had to do a case in my ancient "trusted" ancestor I used for many years before Scribe. Ohh! The pain. The stress. The inability to hear. The lack of enhancing sound. The lack of all things good!
Now I even appreciate Express Scribe more because of this quick hell I went through
