"NEC Power Systems is a terrible Ebay store. Their return policy makes it nearly impossible to get any compensation if they sell you a bad item and
the owner is an abusive jerk who will threaten to sue you at the drop of a hat. If you ask for a refund he will accuse you of blackmail and extortion.

Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this seller.

"Bought a motherboard from this seller -a *new* Dell motherboard which was to be a direct replacement (drop in) for a customer's system. The board arrived DOA. After emailing for an RMA and replacement I was informed that in order to be considered for warranty service, I would have to provide the seller with proof of some sort that I was certified to make repairs to PC computers. I was outraged at what I saw as delaying tactics designed to frustrate my efforts to obtain warranty service. As I had need of this board to repair a customer's older Dell system, I had no choice but to buy a new case and board to complete the repair (was able to use all other parts) as she had already been without her system for over a week. I have been in this business for over 10 years and this is the first time anyone has ever demanded that I send them a diploma in order to get warranty service. After it was clear that he wasn't going to honor the warranty, I filed a dispute with PayPal. When the seller found out about about it he began to email me calling me the most profane and vile things imaginable. I asked him to stop which he ignored with much profanity and tauntings. I have reported him to his ISP for harassment and intend to warn as many people as will listen that if they buy from this seller and all goes well then, great! BUT should a warranty be offered and should the buyer need to try to get warranty service on a defective item, you WILL be in for an unpleasant surprise in trying to deal with a most classless individual. It is worthy to note that in over 600 eBay transactions, never have I had to leave negative feedback, nor have I ever had to write a complaint about a seller since most disputes arise from misunderstanding and are easily resolved through intelligent communication."
