"Was called ma'am in chat, explained this to numerous reps without one apology. Immediately after I was referred to call the Customer Service line to change my order to find out 45 minutes later that was not possible until the next day (was on hold for over half that time to find this out). To even responding back if I could get in touch with management then immediately getting a "refer me" response neglecting to read what I had requested. Overall this has been a horrid experience, and almost feels there are smoke and mirrors when purchasing a product from NFL.com to find out later it's coming from someone else (which is why the chat or customer service line could not cancel the order). I will be sharing this experience online with others, as well as tagging the NFL as I doubt they would deem this acceptable customer service. "
"We had a problem with an autographed football helmet that we bought as a birthday gift. Christen went above and beyond to help us get this situation corrected in the short turn around time that we had to present it at the party. She kept in constant contact with us and always excepted our questioning phone calls even when she was on her lunch break. She always reassured us that we were in good hands and she would take care of everything. She definitely provided 5 STAR customer service! She owned the problem and saw it through until it was corrected. Thank You Christen for all all you did"
"I ordered 3 t-shirt for my boys and never recieved them. when I cobtact customer service this is the answer they gave "Claims regarding lost packages must be reported within 45 days of the ship date. Because it is beyond the 45 day time frame, we are unable to process a replacement or refund.Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you." "I called customer service and asked if they would accept a return of a Ray Rice jersey even though the return period was long expired. Much to my surprise they told me I could send it back for credit which I did on 11/10/2014. This was great customer service.
Unfortunately it took 4 months and countless phone calls to get the credit.
Here are the main issues that I encountered.
1. My problem was complicated and I needed a "supervisor" to handle it. Only 1 supervisor could handle it.
2. It was difficult to contact the supervisor and direct contact via phone or email is not allowed. The only way is to call the general number and ask whether she was available. I left many messages but she did not always return phone calls. No one knew her schedule so calling was hit and miss. A system that does not allow follow up via email or a direct phone number made this a nightmare.
3. I was told several times that the credit had been issued and a confirmation email sent but neither actually happened. Although they said the credit was issued, no transaction number could be provided.
4. Don't send anything back without a tracking number. It will be impossible prove you returned it."
"Slooooowww turn-around. Missed a guaranteed ship date. Unreasonable shipping prices. Customer service doesn't do much to *help* apart from offering insignificant refunds or store credit.
This business leans on all the free advertising on NFL broadcasts in addition to their status as "the official online shop" with basically no investment for offering a top-notch service... apart from aforementioned customer service reps who are basically running on auto-pilot.
Stay far, far away. The NFL Shop is a joke that is not at all funny."
"This company does not make returns easy. You have to pay the return which they deduct from your refund. They dont allow exchanges. If you need a different size, you have to return the item (takes apx 20 days to return and get refund), then re-purchase. With that, you have to hope they have the stock at that point. And, if you purchased the item on sale, when you repurchase you only get the sale price if its within 15 days of original purchase. This is horrible and not conducive of holidays and birthdays!
I do NOT recommend this site for holiday purchases, they're cheaper elsewhere anyway (same Nike jersey $20 cheaper on Nike site)"
"I have ordered a few gifts for my boyfriend from this website and he absolutely loved them! First it was a personalized hoodie and a deck of playing cards for last christmas, then it was a rhino plush with his team logo on it (it was even better with the fact that Rhinos are his favorite animal) and for his coming birthday i ordered a tee shirt and a tank top. I received the first two purchases on time and never had any problems, i just barely ordered his birthday present though. "

From messing up our gift certificates to not shipping an in stock item that was ordered 11/27/11 until the day before Christmas despite the fact that their website still says guaranteed delivery by Christmas. it will not arrive until well after Christmas. They have NO customer service, their tracking website is barely legible and they have no one answering calls even thought they say they are available 24 hours. Never again."
"My package was lost, by no fault of nflshop.com, and their customer service responded to my email in less than an hour. I had only asked that they file a claim with the shipping company, yet the went above and beyond to make my order right. I'm throughly impressed."
"I placed an order on 11/24. It was listed as 7-10 availability. After ten days they changed the status to "Item located in warehouse". They left it that way for 3 days, then canceled my order. According to their website Quote: "If your order is cancelled, you will receive an important notice regarding your order via e-mail which will explain the reason for the cancellation." No reason was given. I contacted them by email on their own form and received a form letter answer, with a "reply-to: ****@****" so I did and it was kicked back as a "The e-mail you replied to was sent from a notification-only program, and
it is unable to accept incoming e-mail." They stated to contact customer service directly at 1-877-NFL-SHOP. You guessed it: all selections are automated!! You can't email anyone, they don't read them; and you can't call anyone they don't answer the phone. So if you order from them "good luck" because they don't want to help, they want your money.
