"This company sucks! I ordered $253 worth of items for my computer (a motherboard and processor) on 6/3. It is now 6/9. So far, they have sent me an e-mail saying that my package shipped on 6/8, but the tracking number was invalid. I called them today (6/9) and they said that my processor is back-ordered (keep in mind that they already sent me an e-mail saying that my package shipped!) The lady said that it would be about 2 days before they get the processor to ship my package. This angers me, but she was nice, so I won't threaten them yet. At least they haven't taken my money and disappeared like another company did to me! *knocks on wood*
Bottom line- STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I don't care how much you think you'll save! You'll save more in the long run by going to newegg.com and getting it FAST and without loads of BS!"
"Had the same problem as David M. Ordered a motherboard on 5/9. Finally recieved the shipping confirmation on 5/14 (it was ordered 2 Day Select), complete with tracking numbers that were obsolete. Emailed them on 5/14 and got the same tracking number auto-respone. Called them on 5/20 to have the order cancelled because I ordered the same one from AllStarShop.com. They said they would credit my card, it is now 6/7, still hasn't happened. However, 2 days later, on 5/22, I recieved the motherboard from FedEx, 2 day select. And the following monday I recieved the same one from AllStarShop. Called them again and pretty much gave them the same spiel that David M did, and told them to send a prepaid return label. I am now the proud owner of 2 identical motherboards, a big brown box awaiting a return label, and a credit card that has not been credited for a cancelled order."
"This is the number one, without peer WORST online retailer I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I placed an order for a motherboard on 5/1/2004. On 5/4 I had not received an email confirming my order and emailed them. I got an auto-reply about what tracking numbers apply to USPS and to UPS. Irrelevant. Called them on 5/5 and they said they had been very busy and had not yet entered the order, but that it would probably be entered that day. By the way, they answer the phone with, "Hello." No business name, no their own name; Hello. I called back on 5/7 morning and found it still had not been entered. I again got the "We've been very busy" story. She assured me it would be entered into their system that day. I called back that afternoon, found that it still had not even been entered into the system six days after I ordered it on their web site. I told them to cancel the order after being assured there would be no penalty or charge whatsoever. I ordered an identical motherboard from ZipZoomfly.com with second day delivery. On Monday, 5/10 the nt-micro board arrived by FedEx overnight! They shipped it anyway. On Tuesday, as promised, the ZipZoomfly board arrived. I sent nt-micro an email requesting clarification and got the same auto-reply then silence. Called them on 5/18 and they professed surprise. I said you need to send me a prepaid return label. They agree to do that. It never came. Emailed again - auto reply on tracking labels. Called 5/28 and spoke with the same CSR. She said she remembered the problem and had sent a request to shipping to mail the label. She said she would follow up on that. I asked her to call me back either way before she went home. Guess what happened? That's right. Nothing. No label has arrived. Today, 6/4, I called the same CSR and she said, "That went out a couple days ago." Well, it's not at my house. In my opinion, you are certifiably insane if you buy from this retailer."

"I purchased a liteon dvd-rom (LTD_165h) in Oct of 2003. After having used unit for less then two months, started causing computer to freeze. I call Nt-Micro and they said that the warranty had expired. Then they could not even give me RMA information on claiming warranty form liteon. "I placed an order from these people 12/08 for a CD burner. It is now Dec 23. The numbers listed on the web site 714/996-7851 and ***-***-**** are fax numbers and apearently do not recieve faxes. The only way I was able to contact them was to wait on my banking staement and get the number from a bank statement. It is appearently a private residence not a business. "
"I waited 12 days for a package that was suposed to arrive in less than ten. I emailed them and two days later they responded saying it had just shipped. This is way too long for no feedback when the order receipt said ten days was the max shipping time. The responder did not appear to be a native English speaker, a concern if there are return issues. The first response was gibberish and did not include the initial email from me, preventing evaluation of a service-thread's progression. Second response gave me teh FEDEX tracking, it arrived 3 weeks after ordering.
The web-printed receipts do not fit on a page, so you lose written record of some info including prices, totals, and date. Technology newbies do not get repeat orders. My PC printer don't do this on anyone elses website.
The DVD-R recorder doesn't work as a DV-R and may have to go back. I only get 7 days to decide. More on that later."
