"I had never heard of them before and decided to take a chance... Sorry I did. Based on my experience so far, all I can say is that in my opinion this is a terrible company that cannot be trusted.
I bought and paid for a used camera and paid extra for overnight shipping. This was on Saturday. My credit card was charged ON SATURDAY.
Monday morning they email me saying they are canceling my order because someone else put the same camera "on hold" on Saturday. Mind you, that customer didn't buy it, just put it on hold. Mind you, no one notified me on Saturday to tell me this, but they did go ahead and charge my credit card. Mind you, they tried to say they couldn't contact me on Saturday, but they were certainly open for business enough to promise the camera I paid for to someone else, and to charge my credit card.
On Monday morning they supposedly refunded the money before contacting me... But that refund wasn't showing up in my account, so I couldn't use that same money to buy something else, which I needed in a rush!
Though National Camera Exchange said they had another of the same camera in stock -- (but more expensive - bait and switch?) -- they would not sell it to me without expecting me to lay out ANOTHER $700+ ... they claimed to have issued the refund already, yet I didn't have it, and since I didn't have it, I couldn't (and wouldn't) give them another $700+ for the camera they DID have in stock.
They basically told me it was my problem.
Not an okay way to do business. A little goes a long way guys. Maybe you should have called me before issuing the refund, offered me a store credit, extended me free shipping, offered me a discount on camera #2 for my trouble... or done SOMETHING, anything, to make YOUR screw-up right.
But no. You offered me nothing.
So here's my gift to you. Your first Internet review and some advice: Manage your inventory better if you're going to sell on the web.
Update #1: more than 24 hours after they promised a refund I still haven't received the credit on my paypal credit card. Will be filing an official dispute if not resolved in another 24 hours.
Update #2: Now it's Friday when they said on Monday they issued a refund. The money still has not been credited to my PayPal credit card. According to PayPal, at this point there's no evidence a refund was even initiated. I have now had to file an official dispute with the credit card company.
So incredibly unhappy with this company. Seriously, It's out-and-out fraud for them to charge a credit card and then sell the item to someone else."
