"I ordered pens that were a promo. It showed set up fee waived and I chose 3 day shipping for $14.99. I paid through paypal and thought nothing of it. After I received the pens, I got another invoice which showed my payment never went through. I now have a $16.95 set up fee and they changed my shipping to $22.99, insane. I called to speak with them about my invoice and basically was told, that is what I owed them. They were of no help and didn't try to make a compromise at all. They change all prices after you've placed the order without letting the customer know. I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone! "
"While ordering online, I clicked 'place order', expecting to see the total charges, (set up fee, ship & handling), next page showed a confirmation number, but no total. I did not give them a credit card #, so wonder how they gave me a confirmation # with no payment. I wanted to see the total amount before I decided to order. I assumed the order was not completed since I did not give my credit card #. I did receive the pens and an invoice for more than I expected. Advertised at 59 cents per pen, now costing $1.16 per pen, almost double.
Then another invoice with a $25. late fee. I wish I would have read these reviews first. I would not have order if I had seen a total price. Not as advertised. Scam."
"I'm so frustrated with this company! I've had several occasions to use their products, and "typically" pay during transaction. This time I didn't. Unfortunately they never sent me an invoice electronically (e-mail) but they didn't fail to send me a PAST DUE invoice with a 14% service charge for being late.
When they "followed up" (making sure I received the past due notice), I assured them that I had immediately paid the invoice, (which they didn't have a record of yet) I vented my frustration with their billing process. The "helpful" customer service rep offered to send me a copy of the invoice. LOL
My advice - don't have them "bill you", paid immediately when the order is placed, or you'll end up paying their $ 25.00 "late fee", since they fail to send you that invoice.

"500 pens I ordered. I liked the way they looked but I moved my office and couldn't find the pens for almost 2 years. I finally found them and I have about 400 left and I tried 15 of them. They all write 3 or 4 words then just stop working and writing all together.
Sad to say have to go in the garbage.n They have never been in heat or extreme cold and I don't buy the ink drying up since they write in the beginning.

"Just to Clarify it is www.pen.com National Pen. . We have placed multiple orders with them only to have an issue. The first order placed was presented as available online, only to find out 1week before the item was needed to be notified that it was not in stock and a new item needed to be chosen. This caused an upset and we were not able to use the pens for the event for which they were ordered. Again I placed another order which was placed on 3/21/2019 only to receive a call on 4/3 indicating that the ink color was not available and would I be willing to choose another. I agreed. However I called to get a status update on 4/8 as the pens were needed for an event on 4/13/2019 to be told that the order was cancelled a representative. Horrible! Horrible… it’s a really simple thing to offer...Pens. We did all the work on our end and all they have to do is print and send. And yet this simple process has become a hassle. Now I see why the pens are so low; the quality of service is also low. "

"Had to get a rush job and spoke with Brittany who, not only provided me with great options, but was very knowledgeable and professional. Brittany recommended pens that I had not even considered and they were a hit for my husbands business event. The pens were exactly what I wanted and I know I would not have been able to pull off such a request with anyone else. I hate that others on this site have had bad experiences, but I would suggest giving them another shot and working with Brittany directly. Love them and will be shopping with them again SOON!!! "Ordered about 800 pens, more then half are still sitting in box as the logo has faded completely even on the pens that are still in box and just opened, they advised that since its been over 1 yr they can not do anything about it, so will need to throw in bin, i sent them photos of the pens and still no help what a joke will never use them again, and will make sure no one i know does either "
"I ordered pens for my company from pens.com and they were defective. I let my sales person know and nothing. I got another call along the way and nothing. Today I get a call from my new sales person, i said why after all this time would I deal with you when you dont honor your product? The sales person looked up my order and verified that mine was indeed from a defective batch. They had a customer service representative call me back. They said because its been so long i could get a 10 percent discount on a new order. I had offered for them to just send me the inners of the pen and I would take them apart and fix them myself. To no avail. So today I take the time to write. Its verified this company **** and sends out defective crap and wants you to order more defective crap. I told them, You are dead to me."
