"I had a $200 order, 50 of which was shipping which was later added to in the amount of $28 extra in shipping which ended up being canceled without any personal notification by the company a month after ordering.
Nationwide candy had several Body Armor drink flavors I couldn't find anywhere else. These are our new favorite workout drinks and I purchased a case of each. The product came out to $152 and was on par with Taldepot except with the unusual flavors. However, the shipping was $48 bucks. I took the hit, even with every other store offering free shipping after a certain price-point, and took it as the price of getting exclusive flavors.
Almost two weeks goes by and I get an email around the time I expected to be actually getting my drinks in the mail. The email states that the shipping calculation did not account for dimensional pricing and they asked for another $28 bucks, bringing the total shipping to $76 freaking dollars. Outrageous! At this point I had already dug in and wanted what I ordered.
A week and a half goes by and I call them, asking where my product is. The woman weaves a story about how their typical provider didn't have the product, so they have to go to another provider and that provider had to get them out of a shipping container from another provider and it should only be two more weeks. I asked if it was two weeks from my order, two weeks from the extra shipping, or two weeks from now. They stated it'd be two weeks from now, indicating that I'd get it around the first week of April. Unbelievable!
Then a few days later, they just up and cancel my order. A full refund, thankfully, but an automated message to cancel a $200+ order with no explanation? Likely because they did not have a product they advertised (All of which are STILL on their site!) after a month of waiting is utterly ridiculous.
I will never buy from this company again."
"I am on my 5th order for our concession stand and never had one issue. I talked with one of their reps about two weeks ago and she said they were really busy. I can believe it because their prices are unbeatable anywhere else. I am very pleased with the service that Nationwide candy provides."
"I tried these guys twice. Both times they let me down initially, then made up for it. Heres what happened.... I bought a few bags of specific candy. 2-3 days later they email me saying that the ones i wanted were out of stock. i was mad, abuit finally said just to swap them out. They upgraded shipping, and i got my order a day or two early..... i placed another order just over the weekend, andsame thing happened. they emailed me on monday saying that the one i want is not availilble, and asking me what i want to do. the website does still say its in stock......"
