"I ordered from them in Jan and it's been over a month since I got the order number and status of "awaiting shipment" with a link to track my order. I clicked on that link and it took me to thier site which said that I had not ordered anything and there is no record of any orders. I replied to their email and have not received any response back. Also their 888 number is showing as disconnected. I think I just got swindled....."
"I ordered a backpack from nationwidediscounts.net because they had the lowest price. Checkout went smoothly, and I got an order confirmation/invoice by email. I noticed that my card was charged the next day, but I had not gotten a shipping confirmation. I contacted nationwide discounts about the status of my order, and a week later they responded and assured me that my order would be shipping "today or tomorrow". When I still had not received a shipping confirmation several days later, I contacted nationwide discounts again. This time I got a reply a few days later saying that they would not ship my order and would not give me a refund.
They cited credit card processing problems and merchant issues as a reason for non-shipment and no refund. Others have had the exact same problem with this company though, and one has to wonder why a company, unable to fulfill orders, would continue to take orders and not let customers know about potential problems.
I don't buy their story, and I believe I was simply swindled by a company that never intended to fulfill my order. Don't make the same mistake I did, steer clear of nationwidediscounts.net. "
