"STAY AWAY. IT IS A SCAM. What a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! PLEASE BE AWARE! I should have known the deal was too good to be true. I placed an order on Sunday on Closeoutgenius website. Than starting Monday I tried to reach the 1-888 number listed on the site to make sure I will get the order on time before my trip to Europe. Most of the time the phone seemed to be out of service. 5 days later - after I sent 4 emails to their customer service (No response to any of the emails) and several attempts to call - they called. The guy proceeded to ask me if I want to purchase the battery. / Battery was listed as a part of the deal/ however I was told the battery doesn't come with the camcorder. What a ripoff! Than the guy hanged up and when I checked the site for the order status - my order was placed on hold. I called the next day - it was Friday. 9:15am - the phone was busy /out of service signal. Finally around 10am I was lucky enough to get in hold of a rep. I said I want to check on the order. He said to call in an hour. I said how hard it is to reach them and I would rather speak to someone now. He responded: LET ME SPELL IT OUT FOR YOU: CALL IN AN HOUR. He was extremely rude so I asked for a supervisor few times, however I was ignored. Finally he transferred me to someone else. The other guy said my order was to be shipped and hanged up before I prompt any question. I went to check the web again to see the status. It was BACKORDERED!!!! I could not believe! I canceled the order – at least it was the option on the site. The next phone call I made was my CREDIT CARD service to cancel my card. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!!!
