"We have purchase 3
Times and the quality and shipping time are both great! "
"These guys are the worst! I ordered a battery for my laptop over 2 months ago, and never received it. They don't have inventory. What they do is charge you, and then have the item drop shipped from China. After 2 months I contacted them to request a refund, and you guessed it, NO RESPONSE. I will never do business with these guys again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!"
"Ordered battery. Card charged twice. No battery delivered. Called and emailed for 4 weeks, no reply.
Issued chargeback.

"The good news: I received the correct battery from NeedBattery.com, and it works great! I also paid far less than the next lowest price I could find online.
The bad news: The order fulfillment process was abysmal. My battery had to be backordered from the manufacturer in China. I will admit that once the battery was received in California it shipped in reasonable time. However altogether it took me well over two months to get my battery. I held out because I really didn't want to try cancelling or to spend more money elsewhere, so I thought I would let the scenario play out and see what happened. I'm satisfied with the result. But I was patient and could afford to wait."
"I ordered a laptop replacement battery from this company whose web page stated the battery to be a direct replacement. Upon receipt, the battery was found to be similar, but would not fit. By examining the battery and laptop battery well, I determined I could make a small modification that would allow the battery to fit...if the company could confirm that indeed the similar battery sent was electrically interface identical. After 3 emails, 2 letters and 3 phone calls, I was told that I could return the battery [at my expense] for a refund. When I asked about the electrical interface, I was told there was nobody there who could say. When I asked if I could get the phone number to the manufacturer to call them, I was told that was not available. Despite my letters, photos sent, emails and phone calls, I received no response other that to return the battery for a refund...and no confirmation that they would refund the additional shipping expense I would have to pay. It cost nearly $10 to ship the battery back and they did indeed refund my original purchase price...but not my return costs. Again, their web page description yet says their battery is a direct replacement, when indeed it cannot be installed. I would not make another purchase here, nor would I recommend them to anyone else. There are many other replacement battery vendors available to deal with who hold higher ethical standards, provide meaningful customer service, and fully stand behind their products...price notwithstanding."
"I tried to cancel my order after the horrible customer service i recieved from AMY. I ordered a battery and I did not pay for shipping to recive it in a few days not 3-5 weeks. When i asked for a supervisor i was refused because as amy said she is the only person that works for the company. I asked then to cancel my order and again she refused. I dont have months to wait on a battery, now i am out the money and having to take the loss to order another one from a company that will actually get me a battery and speak with me over the phone. I will not be ordering the batteries from your company now."
"DO NOT order from this company. Yes, their prices look good, but after waiting a month and looking at others' experiences with this company, I find that they have a very poor and inconsistent record of timely shipment. I never got my order and finally canceled. Appears to be a bedroom operation where everything is ordered through Hong Kong and they don't tell you the delivery schedule--just that its been "approved". Spend a few more bucks and order from a reputable company and run away from these turkeys as fast as you can."
"I cancelled my order after waiting a week without seeing a shipment notification of any kind - I came here, of course, and saw the terrible reviews just before cancelling. Afterward I thought it would be nice to write the company a note explaining my dissatisfaction. I've pasted that here for fun, though I doubt it will change their practices at all.
"Hello,
I would like to pass along some comments regarding your business and service. I was attracted to your site by your low battery prices, but was driven to cancel my order after realizing that the time to deliver my battery was measured in weeks and possibly months. I was lead to this conclusion by reading reviews of your company on Reseller Ratings (http://www.resellerratings.com/store/NeedBattery).
I understand the explanation that your low prices and long shipping times are the result of sourcing items direct from the manufacturer; however your customers should be warned of this scenario when making their purchase, as the expected delivery time for online purchases of ANY merchandise is usually not more than one week or so. I would suggest adding a message stating this clearly during your checkout process. Perhaps this will result in happier customers, for those who are willing to wait anyhow.
Thank you for your time.

"Avoid this store at all costs. I had a customer needing 8 Fujitsu tablet batteries and they needed them fast. I normally buy through my normal distributor channels (TechData, Ingram Micro, etc.) but these guys were $50 cheaper. I placed the order with either overnight or 2nd day shipping. The products said "In Stock". I had somewhat forgot the order until two weeks later my customer asked about the batteries. I checked and the status said "Approved". I sent them an email and I got the generic "In order to keep our prices low, your order may ship directly from the factory in Hong Kong, blah blah blah". I replied and said that's all fine and great but it's been over three weeks since I placed the order. I received no reply. I sent another email basically just asking if they could have the order here within one more week. Two days later they reply with "We are sorry about your issue, your case has been forwarded to management". I gave it another day and heard nothing from "management". If the quality of the batteries they sell is anything like the quality of their customer service, I'd be terrified to slap one in a $1,200 tablet PC. The only thing they have going for them is you can cancel your order online and they processed the cancellation within 24 hours. They must really be used to that process."
"I ordered a laptop battery about 5 days ago and the order kept saying "processing" I finally inquired about it and they said
"Dear Customer,
Thank you for shopping with Needbattery.com. To maintain our position as a
price leader some items are shipped to our customers directly from vendors
in Hong Kong. This means that it could take up to two weeks for your product
to get ship.

They don't have the decency to warn me that it could take a long time.
It seems to be a reacurring theme that complaints against vendors involve them not realizing that people order important things from them and depend on them to get them shipped in a timely manner."
"I should have checked with ResellerRatings.com before placing this order. The price was good, however there was no delivery of the product nor was there even any evidence that the item had shipped. At least I was able to cancel the order on line. However, in checking my account status, I see that my cancellation is only pending. I certainly hope my cancellation gets approved. Had I checked with resellerratings.com I would have at least noticed how poorly these people respond to and serve their customer base. By all means, do yourself a favor and avoid this outfit. You'll be saving yourself time and/or money."
"Terrible Terrible Terrible! I ordered from them since item was in stock and had the option to ship FedEx expedited. However the next morning when I go into work I am told 3 weeks. 3 WEEKS!! I guess it must not be in stock then since I could walk there faster to pick it up. Don't order charge you 2 day shipping rates with 3 week delivery time. At least cancelling orders are easy with them. That given they don't still charge my credit card on my next statement. Do not trust and do not buy from them."
"Another customer burnt by their terrible communication and sketchy order handling.
Placed an order for a battery that seemed to be a fantastic price, and received and order confirmation. I go to check on the status of the order the next day, and it's now voided. No explanation on why my order was voided, heck, no communication even informing me they had voided it. Good thing I checked, I won't be going back to NeedBattery.com."
"Ordered battery for UPS. Good price. Well packaged. Quick shipping. Thanks!"
"AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
NEEDBAYTTERY lists good prices, but that's the ONLY POSITIVE attribute of this poorly run operation.
Battery ordered on 26 February only shown as "APPROVED". It's been almost 2 weeks so I would expect some activity on the order. An E-Mail inquiry about when the battery would be shipped has gone unacknowledged or answered.
I am cancelling the order and have absolutely no confidence this will be acknowledged.
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
