"BAIT & SWITCH SCAM ARTISTS!

These crooks go under a number of other names, like Digital Elect, Certified Digital, Crazy Camera Deals, etc, in fact just do a search in resellerratings.com and you'll see all you need to know about these guys. Same tactics, same hard-nosed upsell tricks.
First they bait you with a low price online. Then you place the order and they say they have to verify your order by phone (or for others, a lie like a duplicate order, or they don't take AMEX; any excuse to talk to you). Then they try to do a pushy upsell for stuff you don't need, and then the lie that the item doesn't come with a battery, or its only a demo battery, or it needs a costly firmware update, and you really need to pay more money for all this. Then they nail you again by adding on a 9% "insurance charge" they never told you about and is buried deep in the fine print of their Policy page.
There are countless burned customers, many off whom got nowhere dealing with their rude customer service people.

I call and after affirming the address, they told me the battery only lasts 20 minutes and it's no good after that. Told me he had a sale on long life batteries and would sell $50 off. Instead I already had bought Maximal Power batteries at $5 plus shipping. He then told me the wall charger was not included. Then the killer. He said the firmware is not installed in the camera and it would cost me another $100 to have it installed! All lies!! I told him that just adding on the firmware along would put the price almost $40 over retail and he agreed. All the while he keeps telling me they are a wholesale company to the public. I told him "You really don't want to sell me a camera do you?" He said he had already cancelled my order! Run away from them!"

"Placed an order for a canon camera that was $20 less than any other site due to a temporary 15% off sale. I received an email asking that I call them before the camera was to ship. Asked if I knew the camera needed a battery and offered to sell me one for $90-- the same battery was available from Amazon for $18. He then quoted me my total price, which was $40 higher-- due to handling and insurance, although shipping was "free"-- than the final price quoted when I placed the order. I canceled my order immediately, but now I need to make sure the purchase did not hit my card. Live and learn."

"I called to confirm my order and they used the high pressure tactics which really turned me off,and also said I really needed to get their charger for the Z981 camera and also the memory card which would cost some off the wall price and I said I could get the same memory card at another site for $15.95 and they said that card would only last "20" minutes!
