"I first discovered Neo Computers in 2000. I was looking for an inexpensive motherboard for my parents computer. I called all over only to find that no one in the quad cities offered this. I finally called neo and they had the board I was looking for for $59.00! $60.00 lower than their closest competitor. Neo offers the best prices on computer parts that I've seen.
Neo has always been very good to me. Their prices are fair, their shipping is NOT extraordinarily high, and the guys that work there, while a little impatient sometimes, will go out of their way to help you.
Understand that Neo is designed as an Internet Sales company. At this point their retail location only serves to warehouse their products and as an outlet for Quad City customers to pickup products (although shipping is usually less than tax). I don't believe that there is a lot of retail sales training, and quite frankly, I don't think they need it. These people sell computers to people that know what they need. If you aren't one of these people, BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE. If you need to have your hand held through the purchasing process, BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
I get frustrated when I see bad reviews for this company. Sure, we've all been a little inconvenienced by Neo, but they have good intentions, and their prices are great. In my eyes that means something.
I've spent around $4000 with neo in two in a half years, and I plan on increasing that five fold here in the next few months. I shop at Neo Computers, and you should too!"
"The prices were ok and the selection was good but not huge. they had a bit of everything. For proccessors they had almost any kind you could think of. Bottom line: they'll have the hardware you're looking for, but maybe not the exact brand your looking for"
"I've dealt with NeoComputers a lot in the last few months for various items. In this time, shipping has been great and I've only had one mishap in 5 different orders, and that was largly my fault for changeing motherboards at last minute. Great store, and great service."
"Shiping took forever and then when I finally got the product it was damaged, prices or some what resonable but you lose everything that you save in the shipping a ground shipment third class 4X the cost. Since only the plastic portion of the case was damaged I decided to just super glue what I could back in place instead of taking another month and a half to wait for another case via mail."
