"Arrived at Netseller just as another customer was walking in the door. He set his computer up on the counter and told the clerk about his problem.
So, without even acknowledging me, the clerk proceeded to fix the other customer's computer. 15 minutes later, he called for someone to help me.
So I get my 32mb SIMM (for a printer) and head home. I remove back panel on the printer, install the SIMM, put it all back together and nestle the printer back onto my desk (not easy, since it's wedged in there pretty good). I print a test page and it seems fine. Then I decide to print a stats page and it registers as a 16mb SIMM.
Since it's too much hassle to take it all apart to return the memory, and the printer seems to work fine, I'm going to keep it.
I'm not complaining about the memory, just the service. Mom & Pop shops clerks always seem to disappear into some back room only to reemmerge a few minutes later with your memory. ..and it almost always has no identifying marks other than the hand-written sticker that says "32mb" when it could, in fact, be a 16mb SIMM."
